Depends on what Pedro we will see. 2017/18 Pedro should be sold. 2016/17 Pedro however is great option to have. Willian for 60m was golden chance to bring talented winger in, but board messed up. Why are our players so inconsistent though? Willian and Pedro on good days, we wouldnt even need replacement. But you never know what to expect from them and thats why we should sell one, despite neither is bad player. Just incredibly inconsistent.

Indeed. Strong defensive pair and regular goalscorer. We have to fix that. Id give Emerson a chance, becuse Alonso is waay too slow for Sarri system. Rudiger is probably first choice CB and we need to find his partner quick and work on it. As for striker, Morata looks unreliable as ever and I wouldnt count on Bats, he doesnt press enough to play under Sarri. But Higuain or Icardi are not answers either. Big dilemma.

Completely agree, but I fear this team has so many players that dont fit Sarri. Even after a while, with all instructions known, I feel some players wont be up to the task. Cesc pressing high? Alonso running up and down? Both are slow as hell and literaly cant play the way Sarri wants. Morata is plain awful too. As for CBs, we have soo soo many options, but hell I dont see single player that would be nailed on, dependable option. And that is my single biggest worry. We dont have a CB that could dictate the defence, which is absolutely crucial part. Crucial. Without strong defence, we will lose all important games. If you have a good CB, he can help the other guy and we have plenty of options for that. But when you have two suspect, inexperienced CBs, that can be big problem. Two seasons ago, we had Azpi as RCB and Cahill as LCB, something completely else compared to what we have right now (Luiz who is suspect in 2 CB system, inexperienced Zouma and Christensen, Rudiger who is somewhat hit and miss and past it Cahill. There isnt single out and out class CB. Caldara and Rugani that we have been linked with dont fit that bill either.

I consider talent someone 23 or below. After that I expect them to start performing on regular basis, and with sort of impact. Suso didnt impress me. He is a player you get for your rotation. Thauvin? Yes he scored 26 goals, but dont let that fool you. I watch ligue 1 a lot and he isnt nowhere near the player we should be getting. Small team killer, chokes when it matters. Not to mention he has typical french mentality, full of himself and when shit hits the fan, he will let you down. He is tacticaly inept, much like Nasri, Ben Arfa or Payet to extent (but he actualy proved something in his career). Thats why I called him cunt, not because his stay in Nufc. Cabaye played for Geordies and I liked him alot. He has alot of talent, but rotten mentality. Thats why he left nufc when they were relegated only to return back to france on loan where he decided to stay permamently, despite nufc hoped to be in plans for last season. His flop in europa final is nice example. And yes Zaha is a no go either. We need to find someone long term for that right wing, someone with proper mentality, and elite talent. Bailey fits that. Chiesa too, but isnt as fitting to PL as Bailey is. Every other option is second option, a quantity option instead of quality. Few months ago, I said I will be happy with good CM (to replace Cesc) and Bailey. Specificaly him. You dont come up to someone talented, chelsea fan, available and tailor suited to PL every year. And counter fits Hazard perfectly. Eden is playmaker, dictates play, while Bailey is direct, loves to shoot and cut in from the wing. The kid is going to be big one day. I know we have lost ambition, but fuck those good, but not great players, get a 5 star prospect for once.

Willian isnt all that bad. People need to stop underrating our players. What those players have over Willian is potential, but hardly anyone is actualy already better. They are, like Willian inconsistent due to age and their best game isnt better compared to best game by Willian. But the cash for Willian (60m) is too good to turn down for a 30yo. And he slapped himself with Conte jibe. Still, out of those mentioned, I would only take Bailey or Chiesa. Pulisic isnt worth reported 70m, Bernardeschi and Inaki are talented, but they never actualy delivered yet. They are nowhere near ready to just replace Willian in our first 11 and give impact. Meanwhile Suso and Thauvin are hardly talents anymore IMO. Neither is good enough for elite club. Thauvin is also one big cunt, I wouldnt have him anywhere near this club. Bailey is a real baller though and CFC fan. He has mentality, is eager to improve and made huge jump last year. Has also all physical qualities for PL. Chiesa not so much, but his ball control is amazing

Why the hell are we not selling him to create space and cash for Bailey?? Willian is nearly 30 and he isnt anywhere great player. This club sold Kdb, Salah, Lukaku, Matic,...but they want to hold on fucking Willian. I liked him, but after what he did to Conte, he can feck off. He isnt consistent for two straight games and goes on about United and Mou all the time. Just get Bailey. There is still Pedro as "more experienced" player, not to mention this is season of adopting, with no huge goals, giving some talented but not established players great opportunity to play regular (Christensen, Emerson, maybe even Barkley, RLC and CHO). Bailey would fit perfectly. He is direct, has eye for goal, quality dribbler and physicaly perfect for PL. And Cfc fan. What more obvious has to come for board to see a great opportunity? Seems like a more polished RLC version, but with pretty much same problems. Isnt realy creative to be playmaker, isnt dynamic and allround enough to be b2b, isnt disciplined and good enough tackler to be DM, isnt regular goal threat ala Lamps to be AM either. But he would still strenghten our midfield, so I wouldnt complain. But 100m is way too much for him IMO.

A LB would also be nice if we are about to go back to 4atb, but I will give Emerson a chance. We also need either RW or Striker, some fresh quality. If we can get Bailey or some quality striker, it wouldnt be bad window, that is if we keep Hazard and Tibo (now that Alisson and Leno are no longer available, Oblak will not move, Tibo as much I dont like him, he is best GK we can have for next season)

Exactly, we need to focus on next 3-4 years and improve gradualy/steadily. This season we have to finish back in top 4, so we have CL again. Next season try to finish 1st and in two seasons after try to win CL etc. We are big club and winning the title or not wont change much if we are back to shit next season. We need to finish top 4, so that we have CL which is appealing and we need to show world AMBITION. Then we will get quality players, we could keep quality players and improve the squad on whole, giving us the edge in PL/CL in future. Chelsea needs CL and ambition to get back to the top. Titles and quality players will follow automaticaly. Winning PL and then show no ambition is what was wrong for past few years which ended up with no CL.

The problem were always the people and not the symbols. Because we have few players who realy give everything in matches. City has shitload of money but their players were not as motivated as Liverpool ones were and they lost. Last year they lost to Monaco. Its all about having dedicated players and tactics. You need a team, not bunch of individual players who play there just to get paid. Obviously every big club has players that have giant paychecks, but you can see the desire and motivation in Ramos, Ronaldo, Modric, Messi,...when they play for their clubs. I dont see one bit of that in almost any City player and in half of Chelsea squad. They just stop playing if things get tough instead of giving all for the club. Thats why I also hope we get Bailey who is Chelsea fan for example.

Either way, I dont care if Jorginho is quality, unless he actualy wants to join us, we shouldnt pursue him. Im suck of these money grabbers. Fuck City. They have such great attacking players, but I bet my ass some will be very unhappy on bench, sooner or later. Even Real or Barca cant keep world class players on bench forever. As long they have Pep with his love for Otamendi and Stones type of CBs, they will get nowhere in CL against any quality side. Defence is still most important aspect of football and Pep has absolutely no club how to handle a more defensive approach. He is all about attack attack. No one gives a shit about it. He will destroy smaller sides yes, but big sides with well drilled defences and counterattacks will end him. TEAMS always win over individuals and if some Mahrez joins club ready to be bench player, I dont mind because it shows clear lack of ambition and desire to actualy perform at the top. But sadly as long PL is so shit, City will stroll. But not because they would be ridiculously great. There are many sides in PL that CIty is perfectly made to destroy sadly. And that will win them the league. But CL? Not a chance mate.
