I wouldnt mind if he was actualy a great striker. But he simply isnt. Maybe slower league, but definately not PL. The fact he is regrded as one of best is due to weak competition these days. And who honestly takes goals in serie a seriously these days when you had 40 year old Toni bag 20+ in a season. This season its 36 year old Quagliarela with 17 already.

When Pedro played well, Sarri started Willian and now when Willian is better, he is starting Pedro. Says CHO is on level of Pedro and Willian, never starts him. Says Emerson is better, still picks Alonso. Maybe thats why he doesnt have any trophy yet.

Kepa is being punished but we are also punishing ourselves with Willy on goal. I guess Emerson is also punished by Sarri because he had a good game? If we win this, it will be close to miracle.

Alonso was NEVER one of the best LBs in europe. He was good wingback but even that was 2 seasons ago.

Time for a new captain then. You cant put your personal feelings in football matters. JT was a dick off the pitch on couple occassions but he never let any of that shit on pitch. He was always 110% professional. If you are team captain, it doesnt matter if Kepa might be your best buddy; if he pulls some shit like that, you scream in his face and take him off the pitch with stretcher if required. That said I dont think there is a single player in our squad capable being captain like that. Rudi and Luiz look most promising, but Luiz wont be around for much longer and he isnt exactly mr reliable while Rudiger has to learn a thing or two, but he is very promising. I like he always shows great passion after succesful tackles, defending actions etc. Very vocal too and has that no nonsense attitude about him, a proper old school CB. I wonder how great is his tactical understanding, I think motivation is always high with him, but simply put you have to be calm, collected and intelligent too if you are captain.

Fair enough. Kdb is more direct indeed and if he makes great passes, its likely his team will score from one, while Eden dribbles dont always result in goals. That said Hazard has been way more consistent for Belgium the last 3 years. Kdb had couple great games that helped Belgium win, but Hazard is performing well for them on regular basis. Kdb has fewer great performances, but when he does his team likely wins. Hazard is usualy best player in team. Overall, due to Hazard consistency he helps his team win more times, albeit at worse percentage (motm/win) ratio. Still thats the only thing that matters because he delivers on regular basis.

You forgot to add that Hazard was great in both games, while De Bruyne played realy average against France.

Should be ahead of Barkley and Kovacic whenever he is fit. Lot of skill on the ball and very strong. Could be devastating for opponents when he hits a run of games.

I like Azpi alot, but he is steadly going in the wrong way. Almost the weakest link in defense bar Alonso on number of ocassions and as a captain he is far from being a great one. No one can blame him for being average going forward, but his defending and captaining have gone down big time. He had some great games, but unlike previous seasons he doesnt look half as secure in defence. And loses his shit so often when we are down, just look his performance vs United. Awful behaviour for a captain. He acted like a rookie, not a seasoned player. What happened yesterday was unbelievable. Zero communication between him, Kepa and Sarri.

Hundreds of times before gk signaled he is ok to continue and the manager put the backup gk back on bench. Sarri just went livid. He even started shouting on Willy to get back the fuck off the bench right before he stormed to the door, who the hell is he to just leave the entire team? And then changes his mind in a second lol and goes back. What was that for? Just to put on a show? I totaly get human emotions but at this level our fricking manager has to be more collected no matter the situation. Because of one player he was about to fuck the entire team? You do that shit behind the doors, bench Kepa etc. What he does at press conference? Excuses that it was misunderstanding which is bs. The entire club lack balls to clear up this situation. If it was tactical, preplaned decision Sarri should know better to inform Kepa about it prior to the game. Kepa doesnt have excuse if he was called to be subbed, he should go, but the level of incompetency from both sides is unreal here. This is top level football and you dont let tactical changes to last minute because tensions are high. And please before calling me delusional read the whole posts I wrote. I blame both Kepa and Sarri for being two kids who cant do the basics of communication.

When we were prepping for penalties, players alienated away from Sarri, while every City player listened to Pep in circle. Also when we lost, Sarri stayed far away and didnt communicate with players much either. At break between ET, Sarri gave Hazard instructions and when they walked away, Eden turned around asking something, but Sarri walked away which left Eden quite furious. One has to wonder what the hell is going behind the scenes because it looks like Sarri is just a puppet. There was zero chemistry on pitch tonight between him and players after regular time. And then after the game everyone is friends again, but thats clearly BS.

You got that right. It was final and instead fighting like a group they let their personal bullshit come out in crucial moment. You are also right that Im Sarri and Kepa hater right now. They both fucked up our chances to win the title. Im Chelsea fan and those two made a fucking drama right before the pens, hurting our chances.

You know if they had their shit together behind the scenes, on training ground, etc... this situation would never happen. If those two were friendly prior to match, they wouldnt make such a scene. Either of them. The communication would be good. What happend was like two idiots ignoring and screaming at each other.

He almost abandoned the team along with the outburst. I remember Conte and Costa being in similar situation when Costa didnt want to leave the pitch. Conte was pissed but he didnt create the scene. Also where was communiction? Kepa was pointing he is not injured and Sarri/Zola kept shouting something back. Was this sub tactical to bring Willy on or Sarri thought Kepa is not fully fit? Im sure neither had any idea what the other side story was. Thats why I blame all of them for being dicks and hurting this club right before pens.
