This guy should rest a bit...played another match today, well, but you can see he is tired...Unfortunely, he is our best player currently and every match is important. Wonder how will he play against Barca, if RDM wont rest him.

Should pass and had assist + Torres would score a goal and make his mind more calm...But no wonder Torres lacks of goals if such ego is playing on wing...Dissapointed with Danny, he is realy selfish and that would be certain goal for Torres, who needs to score to become more confident.

there will never be such goalscoring midfielder in chelsea again...he is extraordinary at scoring goals still...in 2005, he was rated as second best player in the world...but still not superstar...i think we will never have such player again...

for us to play spanish football, it would require new team...it was easier to change coach (who is more suitable for this team) that brings results...with avb; cole, lampard, mikel, essien,...would be useless. now, at least we can plan to buy what we really need; winger, rb and attacking midfielder (with flair) mceachran is regarded as new lampard, but right now it is far away. both posses passing and ball comtrol abilities...

Ashley Cole was from my point of view along Roberto Carlos best LB for past 10 years. Great defender, remember his sick form from 2009-10, when we were champions. Also great before and after, consistant...played in 2 CL finals with 2 different teams and regular choice of UEFA/Fifa team of the year...Lampard and Terry are two another players from England, that play(ed) major part for out team past 10 years. All I am saying, I cant imagine Chelsea without few englishman. What would Chelsea be without Terry, Lamps and Cole? No one cant imagine that. Yes, we are in modern times now and technic skill goes before strenght, but we are English club and should stick to our strenght and tough players with Lampard abilities. English teams were winning because of their English players (United with Scholes, Neville,...), Arsenal with Campbell, A.Cole,...and we with Lamps, Terry and Cole...With too many spanish players or players of such type, we will eventualy become Real or Barca, who fall and dive for everything...3 years ago, we played against barca equal football, but on our own way...Why change that now? With English targets, I meant that it is last time to search for next Lampard...oh, wait, we already found him Josh Mceachran is his name, but he must play to actualy become our regular. Btw, Arsenal tried more ''spanish'' style of football and look where they are? They have bunch of Wallcots, Artetas,...not strong players to be consistant in PL. We are becoming like them...You are forgetting that we are English football and should play english style with premier league players, not some Spanish, that cant catch rhytm in england...Arsenal stand in final for last time, when they had strong, experienced players, not this youngsters they posses now. While England as country is completely different thing. English clubs have been always much more successive, than national team...Lampard, Scholes, Terry are regarded as one of best players on their positions for the past 20 years and yet they never managed much with England. It is in nature that English clubs will always play better with strong players, rather than quick and ''spanish'' style players...Arsenal is good example.United lost their English strenght in midfield, now they cant get top in CL, Arsenal same...Chelsea same...With spanish players, we might play nicer and quicker, but they wont handle all season in PL. That is case with Arsenal last year. good team, but not suitable for PL. good, but not capable of playing top in tought PL for all year...In europe maybe, but not in PL. Problem is that nowdays, there are no Ashely Coles and Lampards and Gerrards, because Chelsea is more willing to buy spaniard Mata, instead of picking up ''next Lampard'' Mceachran...City buys Silva, instead of playing with Andrew Johnson, one of biggest talents of English football (at least he was). United wants new Ronaldo, instead of giving chance to Cleverly istead...And soo...English youth is realy dissapointment in recent seasons...Dont you see that? And you want even more foreign players? How are we ever going to have English midfield again? I'd love to have Essien, Malouda, Lamps, Didi, Ballack, Anelka before all Barca squad any time...They might play nice, but i never saw bigger cheaters in football...Iniesta, Pique, Busquets, Pedro, Villa,...We are English club and we should play like one with English players. Sure, not all of them, in fact 2 would do enough (like now we have Lamps and cole and Terry). Get young english playmaker (mceachran) and build team around him with spanish, brazilian, german, french, italian,,..players. But at least have english captain and playmaker...Or we can forget about english football in future. Why? the best spanish players will always play in Real/Barca and others might go to chelsea, city, united,...Than we would see match between Real (top spaniards) and Chelsea (*other spaniards) and you can bet Real would win anytime. But with our style, squad and spirit, strong team and ball control, we would be beast. In past, we were...Back in 2009-10, Barca was already a top team, Spanish players regarded as best, yet we didint had 1! single spanish player and yet we won Premier league and played excellent against barca...I truly want such strong team once again...Just look back, what great goals were in that season...And the creators? Lampard, Ashely Cole, Drogba, Ballack, Essien, Malouda and Anelka (and Joe Cole). Very spanish indeed...Beast of players, truly english styled... Now we have creative Mata and Sturridge and...yet we cant get in top 4...Dont expect one Hazard can give us title next year...But with few players of Ballack, Essien, Lampard type, just younger might give this team old power again...On the other hand Chelsea is still a very good team, but lacks of conistancy...I say buy Hazard Some patriotism, but guys, if we wont involve in youth english players AND PLAY WITH THEM, what might become of English football? I read Walker is on Real target list. You say he is overrated, but if he might came there, I bet he would be beast. And then: oh, why we didnt bought him, when had chance...+he is english...England would probably still ''suck'' on national level, but in this case Walker would become one of best RB with Real...after all, Cole was overrated aswell, but in top club (Chelsea), on top level with top level co-players, he proved how great he is(was)... England should create B teams to compete in Championship, like Chelsea B. just like Barca B in spain...and look how great they use talents... Cheers...

Since we are english club, I think maybe we should aquire english players, not just foreign. Possibilities are Kyle Walker, Wilshere, Chamberlain,... Maybe you know which home players could do at Chelsea? Write few suggestions if you like. Personaly I think Walker would be good buy, he reminds me of Roberto Carlos, Marcelo and Dani Alves a bit. Ashley Cole have to be mentioned aswell. Good in passing, very quick and makes returns in defence. Not to mention his great long shot. Tottenham might be willing to sell him, they have Rose on that position, but the price will be extra salty...Englishman, capped in national team, regular starter, talent abilities, young + this: ''Chelsea is buying him? Tell them, if they raise offer for another 15mio, we agree...They''ll do'' i just think, this Abramovich buying has cost us even more money nowdays. Everyone knows if we want to buy a player, we will get him, but they will first refuse, knowing we will always come with improved offer...That saga with Modrič was just ridiculous. First we offered 30 mio, than 40 mio and maybe more. They didnt sold him, while we showed if we want to buy someone, the club will want more, because they know they can get it.

Yes, Terry and Carvalho were another world. At that time, we actualy had best defence in the world with Terry and Cole regulary in UEFA Team of the year...+Carvalho, Ferreira, Bossingwa. The latter 3 already left, or play very badly now... In those times, we were regarded as a defensively one of the strongest teams in world, conceding only few goals per season...Now any team can score 2 goals against us. But yes, Cahill is good anyway, while Luiz is young and he will learn evenualy. The progress of him, comparing to first half of this season is unbelievable. He is realy similar to Carvalho, but has to learn how to defend more and attack less.

Offcourse, we wont buy Gotze this season, in fact no one will get him this season...He renewed contract to 2016 and confirmed staying in germany for at least another year. But I think, as he is regarded as even better talent than Hazard, and seems he is more loyal than hazard, it would be impossible to get him this season, specialy if we dont get to CL. For Gotze, I think it will be objective to play in CL every year. While Hazard anounced the move to PL already and ''sold'' himself to several clubs. I really dont like that about him...But at least he showed money might be the key and we can actualy get him in summer with a decent offer...

i didnt say he was bad...but yesterday against benfica...after terry left it was more problem in defense. cahill didnt made any real mistake, but the goal was in the air for last 20min, after terry being replaced.

If they wont play we can forget about them.

Central backs are usualy like vine, the older the better...Except when speaking of modern brazilian or portuguese CBs. They count on speed and agility, rather than positioning. Definately he plays more than most of our on loan players and I would give him a chance...

I bet in two years, he will be one of better players in PL...he has that talent and skill, earned here. all he has to do is play...and then...Mellis on wanted list by Chelsea, but City might snap him, because of Chelsea untrust in him, when younger...

Problem with Chelsea defence remains, whenever Terry is injured. Cahill seems good defender, but he is not that extra I hoped. Definately far from his form from last season with Bolton, when Barca was interested for him... I dont know, but ocassionaly he seems slugish in defence...Not sure at all and leaves space for opponents...He is becoming better, but still far from Terrys and miles away from Terry's best...

he was porto player, he must have really enyojed that goal about match: cech very good, except he should catch that ball instead of javi garcia scored. lampard, cole, terry excellent, mata as always, but needs to rest. torres should score, i dont blame him for miss, but it was said he is back and yet he didnt take responsibility...but good overall. ramires also should score from that chance, but well it happens... but i am somehow disappointed with game we showed. we played at home, had advantage from previous match, no injury trouble, scored leading goal from penalty and had a player more for whole match...yet it was benfica who kept possesion, control and had tons of chances...we were again bit lucky, they could easily gone with win...what i liked is that control in our deffensive style of play, but everyone knows you cant play all game like that and win, because eventually, you concede a goal...we were solid, but should have more control on the ball... question is how are we going to play barca? we have fitness, experience and strenght. tall players and revenge in mind...they are favourite, but i would never write chelsea off. with our key players in form, taking chances, solid display in defence and bit luck, we could go through...but we will have to be at best...

also i think we should have a little more respect to players we have...after all it was meireles and kalou who scored most important goals against benfica among all other players we have(+lamps penalty). but im concerned about torres, his form is somehow rising, but today he hasnt score again...eventualy, he will have to score regulary, because we need constant striker...

where o where are those times with cech, brana, carvalho, terry, a.cole, essien, lampard, ballack, malouda, anelka, drogba and j.cole on the bench...times when we played better football than barca, times when we just enyojed the game...i really miss two years ago....nostalgy... but the future is somehow bright since we have plenty of talent... now i'm going to buy hazard in fifa 12 before its too late...i suggest roman does the same

We have enough money for him and he would get big weeky wages. Definately bigger than in Arsenal or United. Surely, if there is question of playing in CL, than Spurs have even less chances of getting him. Maybe United or City might play in Cl, but I hope he realizes, that there is soo many wingers already. In Chelsea, he would be regular starter from beginning, has bunch of friends (KDB, Lukaku, Courtois eventualy). He would be key of our team...

Just because he was injured, you cant say Essien is a tosser. I still have one of finest memories of chelsea including him...great player

Well, than 30 mio for all players and another 60 mio from Roman. In that case, 60mio is not that much, considering we paid 50mio only on Torres... With those 90 mio, we could get those 4 players and i think our team would be very, very good and young next season. Just the fact, we might get two most promissing talents in football world Hazard and Mvila (Gotze, Muniain, Wilshere, Neymar are in that range), would give us great team for the future. Combining this with our team of Ramires, Mata, Sturridge, Luiz, our young hopes Mceachran, Piazon, Kalas, Bruma, Bertrand, Courtois, Romeu, Lukaku, Chalobah, Feruz,... and adding Belhanda + Azpi to squad...We dont need to spend practicaly any money in the future...If most of those youngsters will actually prove their skill, we dont need new players any time soon. I just cant name that much top promising players, like Chelsea has. Maybe Barca has about 10 such promising players like we, but no other club...the problem is, that we just cant handle with them, once they should play; Borini, Gokhan Tore, Stoch,...recently...

he is in the range of lucas piazon or ulises davilla. has potential and a usefull buy, since he is a striker. but the question is, are chelsea ready to make him star or he wil just sit on bench. if roman has money, why not but i dont want bunch of potential future star players, because chelsea needs young players, ready for first team action...

Well, I said to buy Belhanda and Hazard, who are both attackingly minded + Mvila. This guy will block counter attacks, if Hazard or Mata loses the ball... For those prices, yes I know it will be hard to sell (i looked on transfermarket), but i think theese players, especially malouda, meireles, kalou and mikel could become very important players for teams like juve, milan, napoli, schalke, valencia,...if they would buy them...

I allways really liked Real and Chelsea only, and never wanted theese two teams transfering players between. Luckily, only Makelele and Carvalho switched in recent years...

After some thinking, I think this would be my favourite Chelsea team for next season: Players out: Ferreira (1,000,000mio) Bossingwa (6,000,000mio) Meireles (14,000,000mio) Obi Mikel (17,000,000mio) Kalou (9,000,000mio) Malouda (9,000,000mio) --- That gives us around 40,000,000mio for all players, considering minimum for them... +60,000,000mio from Abramovich (which is not that much, yet enough) And we easily come to 100,000,000mio max. Players I would buy for that money are: 1.Eden Hazard (around 27,000,000mio, but we would pay 35,000,000 or more...). WHY: We need winger, Mata to central role and one problem solved 2.Azpilicueta (7,000,000mio, but might get him for 12,000,000mio) WHY: With the sales of Boss and Ferreira, we need backup for Brana...also, he might ocassionaly play on left side, who knows? 3.Yann Mvila (20,000,000mio, we get him for about 25,000,000) WHY: After we offload Meireles and Mikel, we need new player to rotate in midfield. This time a top class youngster... 4. Younes Belhanda (8,000,000mio, but 17,000,000mio would do more justice) WHY: Since we would play with Mata, Ramires and Hazard (they have to play), we shouldnt get another top class playmaker like Modrič, Sneijder or Hamšik, since one of them would sit on bench. But Belhanda type of player would give great rotation with option to play on wing or central midfield...This player would also compete for 1st place in team, which means Mata and others will have to show they deserve to play in 1st 11. --- Around 90,000,000 for all them, but since 40,000,000 comes from sales, 50,000,000 mio would be invested in new players...They are 21 or 22 years old and would fit great in our team, solving many problems...Question of striker remains, but I hope Torres finds his form, or in worst case Sturridge plays central role, and in winter we sell Torres, and buy new striker (Cavani, Falcao, Hulk, Doumbia,,..class). Of our young academy: Lukaku should play summer friendly games with Chelsea, and remain as reserve to ocassionaly play as winger or striker (10 games in whole season would be good for start). Mceachran should be loaned to a club in pl or championship, where he could regulary play. De Bruyne should stay with team, like Lukaku and play as reserve for wing (to replace Hazard sometimes, because we should sell Malouda). Piazon should be loaned too (maybe together with Josh in same club in Championship...), Kalas, Bruma, Davilla should stay on loan...But if Lukaku and De Bruyne stay, they should get at least 15 games (including Fa-cup starts and several PL sub-appeareances) And definately, it seems, Roberto di Matteo should stay next season. WHY? Well, he knows players, club, and he wont cost much...Less than anyone else. And the team? -----------Cech----------- Brana-Luiz-Terry-Cole ----Essien-Ramires----- Sturridge-Mata-Hazard ----------Torres---------- Subs: Azpi, Cahill, Bertrand; Mvilla, Romeu, Belhanda, De Bruyne, Lampard; Lukaku, Drogba The only question remains attack, since Drogba is old, Torres not in form (but coming), Lukaku far from PL experience, while Sturridge was more a winger than striker for CFC soo far. As I said, in that case, buy new forward in later in winter transfer period. Sorry for so long talking, I had to share my thoughts, even they might never come true...
