To mention that would be better, we never bought Torres at all. Waited till summer and snap Falcao or Cavani for 10 mio less. We wouldnt had so much problems about strikers, should we buy new one, should sell torres,... And could easiy concentrate on winger and creative midfielder. Now torres is still out of form, no one knows if he should be sold or not. Busted 50mio and took place of actualy decent striker. If we buy new striker, sell Torres. simple as that. There is no meaning the new striker or torres should sit on bench. but i give torres one more chance and if he wont start scoring next season, i would sell him in winter and THEN get new striker. Currently we need top profile midfielder like Modric and winger like hazard. 80mio just for these two. And they are necessary. If we dont get them, we wont be much better next season. Buyning striker of Cavani type would bring more than 12mio. Not gonna happen. And if board actualy buys striker over left winger, bad choice... Not to say word about Falcao. Strike: cabaye would cost us more than 15 mio. 20 minimum. Also picking striker ahead of left winger is bad. Just saying, we can still use drogba torres sturridge or lukaku, but there is nobody that could play decently on lw. Mata has to play central role as cam, or with partnership along belhada/modric/whoever. Also Azpi is more prospective than der wiel, younger aswell and price is same if not cheaper. Van der wiel about 17, azpi around 14 Also all respect to lamps, but there is almost no chance i would pick him in regular team next season. As I said Azpi 12mio Mvila 25 hazard 40 hoilett free cabaye/belhanda 20 or modric 40 doumbia 20 sell few players and get around 30mio for them, we would spend around 90-110mio for all players we need. next summer I would go after lb, striker and rw. Somehow Modric might be best option for midfield, he offers defensive and ofensive actions, holding and passing midfielder, creative and consistant. price is problem, but other way we need someone that can create (lets say belhanda), would cost 20 and than someone that can defend (lets say cabaye/mvila) with another 20-25 mio. combine that and price gets same as for modric alone. modric, hazard, cabaye/belhanda/mvila, hoilett, azpi and doumbia is optimal for me i guess we could spend around 100mio couldnt we(despite ffp)? and about doumbia, he is still 24 and strikers become best in older ages. I think he would be good value, but I get feeling at the end we will buy this: Cavani, Modric, Azpi and Pereira. Maybe winger aswell, but more possible Lavezzi than Hazard. What we also require is good DM or keep Essien AND Mikel.

We might go after Santi Cazorla or Isco from Malaga? They are not quite Mata type, but specialy Isco could develop in next few years.

Well this 247mio could be true or not, but Roman must have seen problems we were facing this season and few top players must come. I admit that we should buy Fabregas when he was at arsenal. Get him for 60mio, I dont care since he can attack, work hard in midfield and defend good. Passes excelent and scores goals. Him and Mata...but he joined barca for 34mio. Rip off if you ask me. Now I wonder, Modric is best option. Cabaye is not on that level, also less attack work. Hamsik is not enough defensive on other hand. Yes. Agree, we should spend wisely. Dont care about how much money manager will get, hope he tries to get what we need, not whole new attack and midfield. I guess if we get 247 mio to spend, our coach wont even look at hoilett or cabaye...But they might do job better than any 40mio player. Hoilett, Cabaye, Belhanda, Hazard, Azpi, Doumbia, Mvila, Witsel, Johnson, maybe Hulk, Tiote, Modric should be players I would love to see at CFC. About half of them. And use Lukaku, KDB and Bertrand aswell. I'm still looking for cheaper, good creative midfielder, not Modric or Hamsik. Price rang and similar skills to Mata. I have big respect to RDM but if he wants to keep kalou and the players that should leave, than I'm not that sure about him. Keeping same players wont help us.

If we will be going for every player it will give us 10 medium good players. This guy goes into this category. He is good, loved him watching, but now my concern is he doesnt play much. Capello could be similar to Ancelotti. But good choice. Klopp is staying at dortmund, low in germany, blanc in france and mourinho at madrid. guardiola is never option to me, he never says what he thinks and all those manipulative games he plays...big dislike. Honestly I thought Napoli will beat us. But I believed in Chelsea. Apoel surprised Lyon. Basel surprised United. Benfica surprised United. Basel surprised Bayern. In 2010, Barca was big favourite, but Inter made in final. There are always 50:50 chances in CL. Always. We have good team, very good. Maybe it is lacking of creativity or young players...Anyway they are experienced and the game we play doesnt fit barca. It will be hard and they are better team. Lets hope Roman means seriously this time. If he means, lot of players comming and lot of them goes. Boss, ferreira, essien/mikel, kalou, malouda, drogba, benayoun for sure. Think Lampard should stay for experience, while I still dont know about Meireles. If we get proper replacement fine, other way he can stay. 6-7 new players, Azpi, Mvila/Witsel/Tiote/Moutinho/Martinez/..., 2x Cabaye/Belhanda/Hamsik/Modric/..., Falcao/Cavani/Doumbia/..., 2x Hazard/Lavezzi/Hulk/Ayew/... And add Hoilett for free But there are always cheaper options like de Maros from Atletic, Marvin from Sochaux,...that could turn 10x better than Modric, but for much less money.
