The holiday spirit, discounts and a bit o need brought me to buy a new phone in next weeks. I have decided to choose between Lg Optimus L9 that would cost me about 600 euros in two years or Samsung Galaxy S2 that would cost me around 800euros in 24months. So which one should I get? There is not much difference, Galaxy has despite its 1,5 year old phone better hardware and software, as well Samsung phones have much more support than LG ones. So if anyone has one of two phones, could he tel me about the experience with it? Im turning on Samsung more, but its 200euros expensiver.

Rafinha Alcantara could eventualy replace Busquets, but Barca wont sell Sergio, probably never. Busquets will remain loyal (as Iniesta, Xavi, Puyol,...) and Barca doesnt need to sell him, even an offer for 40mio comes in...
-
If he scores 2 more goals in next game, I bet his price will go sky high even further.

PSG is not doing that good in french league due to lack of ambition in there. What matters if they win, they probably saying to themselves. CL is another story, they give 110% in the games, also Carlo is very good manager and tactician. If they fall out of CL, they will do what its necessary to at least win League 1, but its not their ''priority''. They want to go further as possible in CL, you can see that.
-
Psg is doing great job I think. They buy reasonable (big, but in right areas). In their first season, they come through group of CL (City couldnt do it in second year), they have great coach and a very balanced team of hard workers, experience and youth as well creativity. Pastore might be a bit off, but Carlo did good job this year. Even Lavezzi is doing fine recently, despite big problems in beggining. If PSG signs Sneijder they will have big chance to go far this season. They remind me of Chelsea since Roman tok it over. They spend even more, but prices gone up too and they have very balanced team, like we had since 2003-2012. I think in CL, they will be regular competitors for high spots, dont forget that they will get Lucas in winter (and possibly Sneijder?), they also have young Sakho, Matuidi, Veratti,...who can evolve in fantastic players. Ibra and Thiago Silva are top class already, no doubt.

I said barca is special case, as they have both cams and wingers and can play wide too. I agree with you bout 4:3:3 with Moutinho, it could work, but 1.) We need manager that can do that 2.) Mikel wont be good enough to play alone in DM, unfortunely. We need Essien type then. 3.) To play possession football is hardest thing to work in football. There must be no egos, complains,...Players must work as team, everyone needs to be attacker and defender at same time. Communication is extremely important and all players in field must know their exact role. As for 'bonus', there must be some plan B (for example if we buy powerful outside penalty shooter that would cause danger with long shots). --- In that style, we would then need powerful striker (ala Cavani), Moutinho, Explosive allround/B2B DM with nice passing and no nonsense play, eventualy CB that would replace Terry. One more thing, possession football is something that develops for years, we could reach our peak in 2/3 years from now, we will need to be very patient.

Either you play direct football (with wingers) or passing football (with CAMs). Bayern, Madrid, United HAVE wingers. They use width and speed to score with either quick counters or planned attacking. Barca has playmakers and wingers; they are special example and thats why they are sucessful with their philosophy. Arsenal had playmakers (Cesc, Nasri,...) and it didnt gave them results. They coundnt even beat Birmingham (?) in that Carling cup final year ago...it wasnt because of they sold players, but because of their mentality. We have players with awkward mentality at moment, no hardworkers ala Vidal, no die hard club lovers (not counting old legends like Terry, Lamps, Cole, Cech,etc.). Only Moses and Mata seem to realy try and even Mata gets tired too quickly. He just doesnt have engine like Iniesta for example... So either you play direct football with wingers or passing forever with three attacking playmakers. We have Oscar, Hazard and Mata. They dont offer quick runs, wide play etc. Im not saying about tiki taka but about passing game. We can only pass forever, but there is no plan B and no end product. Even with direct football, like Bayern plays or RM, you can play beautiful. Why did we go to this team play with no wingers, it questions me. That is the point. If we had Hazard (the one from Lille)-Mata-Bale/Sanchez/Moses (improved one)/Dzsudzsak in formation 4:3:3, our play speed would increase and we would have all round attack; dribbling, quick passing, crossing, distance shooting. Now, we only have endless passing, what I call tikitaka. How many times we scored from distance this season? from cross? from great dribble from our winger? One way attack, opponent will place four muscled giants in front of their goal and we are screwed. There is some reason for bad results as we are in transition, with no real manager and no striker, but Mata-Oscar-Hazard just wont work. Too one dimensional and unconsistent/lacks of pace and stamina. We have no wide play and you cant compare us to Bayern, Shakhtar,...They dont play tikitaka but direct wing football. We dont have wingers. You cant win big matches in that way. With Mazacar, we also dont have philosophy and coach to direct them to play more efficient. Final time to place Oscar in CM and buy a winger to play along Mata and Hazard. We had Mata as our playmaker and in summer we need to buy a winger and CM (rumours about Modric). Then we bought playmaker (Hazard) instead of winger; but he could play fantastic as winger, so I had no problem. Then we bought another Cam, instead of CM. Oscar was planed to play in Modric position, then he moved upfront, leaving us with no width, DPL, height, speed, strenght,... In first games, we rock our opponent didnt known our style. Then they saw how one dimensional we are and stoped us with ease. You dont spend 80mio and then cant win one game in a row of 6, transition is not problem, but players and their mentality. At least we have Moses to open the game more.
-
Yeah, but except Barca, no one that tries to play tiki taka is sucessful nowdays. Yes people enoy watching it (thats why Ajax has so many fans), but it doesnt give you big results. Arsenal are fine example (well they sold their best players too, they would have fantastic squad if they kept Rvp, Cesc, Song, Adebayor, Cole,...), still the style just seems its not efficient. Real is trying to play nice football, but even they have issues with inconsistency. Ronaldo saves them many times too. I dont want us to play tikitaka, I never liked that style, and only Barca was sucess in that. I want us to be efficient in front of opponent goal and not open our legs wide in front of our goal. But lets wait for a manager, some new players, what style will we play and end with transition. Then make judgement, I will.

Is there any chance of us signing Song in january/summer? He played for Arsenal, but I dont think he is that loyal to them nowdays, and he doesnt play important role in Barca, so he might want to leave. Toure was in similar position and then he left for City for 25mio£. I think Song would evolve in world class CM if he would play regulary. I cant imagine him joining us, unless we offer Barca Luiz in exchange. But I would keep David, he still has something special about him.
-
If Klopp would come, two of dortmund players would follow him for sure. He knows his team and players love him. I think a CB he trusts most and midfielder/striker. Sure we can buy them, and Klopp would give them reason to join us. I just hope whoever we get, he will do fine job and wont be sacked in 3 years at least.
-
No pain, no gain. Board has no patience with Danny and thats why he will never suceed here unfortunely. To still play Torres ahead its idiotic. I cant blame Danny if he wants to go, he will play more and thats it. Board is to blame for letting english talented player leave, not even try him properly.
-
Isnt Moutinho best in 4:3:3, not in double pivot?
-
Lets try to buy Aubameyang and Fernandinho. Both are good and have great season, also they wouldnt cost more than 35mio combined (15+20m). Aubameyang has some great atleticism for his height, reminds me of Ibra a bit. About Diame/Ba. It would be worth a punt, but I think there is no chance board would go after Diame, while Ba will probably stay at NCU...
-
I didnt say he would play AM, thats just an option as he can play there. But he is best as B2B midfielder (instead Rambo). He offers lot of energy and heart in both ends of pitch, giving us hard worker. Also his technical skill is actualy very good, but just because he is tall, he looks clumsy. Also as some people say he is good this season, they look only for goals. Because Fellaini last year was already fantastic and played 90% of the games as B2B player. You say I dont think logicaly? We need some power and technical ability, we need another Mf for rotation. Tell me who would you buy this winter that is available and not too expensive (like Moutinho)? Just cuz we need some creativity in deep midfield it doesnt mean we need small player like Moutinho or Cabaye. Both get tired once game progress, they only play for fancy moves, but are NOT hard workers like Vidal, Alonso or Fellaini. Tell me if we get Moutinho, who will defend? Mata, Hazard, Moutinho fall of imediately. If there is no hardworker in team, there will be no sucess. Power is what we need, not flair. We have Mazacar and you saw they couldnt get us through CL group cuz they hava no plan b, no stamina, power and that is FACT. We wont become barca even if Pep comes, our defence will be shit if we get too many small skillful players. I cant agree with you, sorry.

Fellaini is one of best midfielders (allround) in PL. Thats a fact, even he plays for Everton. If he wouldnt play for them, his price would be 40mio and everyone would want him here. Drogba played for Marseile, Oscar for Internacional,...you say Fella is not good cuz he plays for Everton? Well done. Then Rooney sucked to I guess as he was Everton player. Fellaini scored 8! goals and made 3 assists this year, what counts more he physicaly destroyed City, United and Arsenal. Its not all about fancy passing etc, we have enough such players. Fellaini would add something more to the team we lack big. Power and stamina. -He can run forever, Mata, Oscar get tired quickly. Fellaini almost doesnt need rest -He is not injury prone -Lot of experience in PL and he is one of best MFs in league. -Great age to add some experience yet has best years ahead. -Show lot of passion in each game, never gives up. -Can become a legend, very calm and humble player. -Hard worker, we lack them a lot. -AVAILABLE ---- Yes, Vidal, Alonso, Witsel are players I rate above Fellaini. Are they available? NO! Is Cabaye available? NO. Will we pay 40mio for Moutinho? No. Are we linked with Fernandinho? No. Tell me for better player that we have been linked with and is in range of 25mio pounds? I wonder what will you say when United or someone buys him and he will destroy us. Everton player? Noh, we dont need him, he too bad, lets go after Isco, he is so good, lets have team of weak players. Play barca style in PL. And to what point is Capoue who never played outside france makes you think he is better than Fellaini?
-
So you would bench Rambo and Mikel? I think Mikel Fellaini would work nice. Or play Hazard-Fellaini-Mata and Oscar-Mikel in pivot pair.
-
Anyone outside Ukr/Russia/Turkey... I would like to play vs Ajax actualy, they are good team. I hope we go as far possible, but please play with reserve players (Marin, Moses?, Danny, Azpi, Bertrand, Piazon, Feruz maybe, Romeu,...)
-
Actualy Cabaye or Moutinho are two weak for this team. Its clearly seen that we need to add some strenght to team (and height). Capoue is DM/CB and we need CM. He has no playmaking abilities. Fellaini is CM/CAM or DM and PL proven with lot of experience, a very important thing. Sure Vidal or Witsel would fit there great too, but they are not available.
-
Actualy they both can play in 4:2:3:1 behind striker... ---------striker-------- Neymar-Aguero-Xxx --------xxx-xxx------- Aguero is CAM at City and Neymar is winger/LCAM at Santos/Brasil. But both can play on wings, as strikers or second strikers.
-
Striker is priority. Its up to club if they will splash cash or wait for new manager to chose big stiker and niw buy someone cheap until summer. I hope we get Bony as cheap or Cavani as expensive. In case Danny goes, we probably need two strikers. The second one should be cheap, but good enough for rotation. CM also needs improvement, however KDB is coming in summer. I think we should buy Fernandinho/Inler/Vidal/XXX. Someone who will lead midfield, is experinced, wont give up and runs forever. Every team needs heart in midfield and we dont have it yet. Mata is too unbalanced right now. We dont need CB or LB/RB this winter. Some strenght would come handy. Fellaini could come, but Im not sure about him too much. If we get strong CM, then this is not required. KDB could be recalled to add some rotation Mazacar, but there are Marin and Moses already. ------- My personal opinion is that we will go after top striker (Romans obssesion, but also a need right now). Falcao is most available from big money strikera at moment. We lack some strenght in midfield. Possibly with experience from Epl already. Vidal is not available, Fernandinho was not linked, De Rossi too expensive, Inler not linked etc. Fellaini is probably the most possible target. If we sell Danny, we probably buy Bony for 10mio (I guess Danny sale would be around 20mio - he still has lot of potential, is young and english). We will spend big - striker 50mio, Fellaini 20 and possibly Bony 10. We get 20 back (and hopefuly something for Torres). 60mio spend is not that much. However I hope Danny stays.

We finaly scored for fun. In EL, we will have a chance to play our younger players more, they should gain some experience from there. Also our new players (Mata, Hazard, Oscar,..) are now past heavy test that they failed this time, but will learn from it. We actualy had most goals scored in group stage, that isnt so bad. Consider we had better striker... All in all, with 21yrs olds, a bad striker and both leaders (Terry, Lamps) injured, we couldnt change much. I think we screwed the first match vs Juve when we were leading 2:0 and then only draw. Shakhtar away was tough game, even Barca plays bad there, Juve away was result of bad form from heavy schedule, Juves experience, our inexperience. We were lucky we won Shakhtar at home too. Congrats to Juve and Shakhtar, I hope we learn something from this year. We were flying too high with all this champions of europe...We dont have Drogba anymore, Lamps is side player now and this team is still in transition, they are not champions yet. Cheers people

We are leading 6-1 yet playing so hard... give them some break its not going to be anything different...
-
At least we are running nice show at SB and if that means goodbye from CL this year, it will be ''nice'' one.
-
Shakhtar is losing....
-
Funny game I have bad feeling that shakhtar-juve is agreed to end with draw...
