What a goallll

And the small stuff like Tammy running towards Lamps...its what builds character and team spirit and reminded me of Klopp at Pool. Might have some shit games but the passion and team work is always there. I didnt recognize that from Sarri last year, he was more like an outsider coaching a group of players rather than being a part of the team.

Speaking of boring, I actualy quit watching a few games last season, something I never did before. You just knew we aint gonna turn it around in 1000minutes nevermind 30 or so. This year, our attack is realy a joy to watch though.

I understand you, Im not happy about all of this either, but thats just the way football is nowdays. We can always say no and he becomes next "Mbappe or Sancho" in Bayern, Liverpool etc. -
Fair to say he is the most loved footballer ever? I dont remember anyone else being as respected and liked by even the fiercest rivals. He is the reminder that football isnt all about cash, instagram and ego.

Football is funny because if CHO delivers, no one, not you, me or anyone else will give a shit if he was paid this much at such young age. -

In the next week or so probably means in the next century or so. -
Just realised we had 3rd best defence last season. Despite obvious flaws and lot of complaining here, we didnt do as bad in general at all. But this year, our defence is truly bad. Hopefuly Rudi and Kante return improves our backline.
-
No he never did. He did score a few, mostly with his head and already had shitload of simple misses. But I did expect more from Morata, however there were more question marks about him than answers. I specificaly remember Ramos or another teammate talk about Morata mentality and that the main reason he was never first choice striker for Rm was due to his weak mentality infront of goal when he has to score.
-
Haha true because its mainstream to be a fan of those two clubs even if you dont know what football is.

You should check a few Real Madrid forums or sites. They spent 300m on Hazard, Jovic, Mendy, Militao...and their fans are crazy furious about how "bad" the transfer window was for them. I guess if they bought Pogba, Eriksen, Neymar and Bruno, you would still find couple of them being pissed for not signing a few more.
-
You'd think they learned a thing or two with Neymar, but they go on and bring another ego in the squad with crazy agent. Also it will be funny to see how Mbappe, Cavani, Icardi, Neymar? play together. Only a matter of time before things go haywire.
-
Mainly because Lamps and big chunk of the team is realy inexperienced. Last year for example or before with Sarri and Conte both had fairly experienced players and stuff like this was not tolerated. But my level of forgiveness to current young crop is slightly bigger, hence I cant be pissed that much. I knew from the start this wont be a good season if you check results, but it could be good season from player development. And Tammy, Mount, Emerson...soon likely RLC and Odoi will develop nicely. It will be our foundation for the next few years. People may see shit results this season, but I see good performances from Tammy and Mount. This season is all about players like them IMO.

Ah the final days when PL was realy fun.
-
He would get some space naturaly, but nowhere near enough to make him deadly striker with 20+ goals because we are now possesion based and we force opponents to park the bus. Secondly, leipzig plays with two strikers and that already gives Werner even more space than single striker system. He would be tailor made to our counter attacking team back in the day, but nowdays we need someone ala Firmino or Aguero who are great with ball at their feet. Werner main issue is exactly that and thats why he is still in Leipzig despite racking up nice number of goals.
-
You hardly get this much space in PL against the likes of Burnley or Newcastle where 8 players stands around penalty area for most parts of the game. Thats why there just arent this many goals like the one Werner scored.
-
Aguero is nice example of very allround striker that can move well around parked buses. Obviously thats big part of how city plays, but Jesus for example is nowhwere near that. He was wasteful on counters indeed, but at the same time that was his greatest strength. His bigger issues are close ball control and composure.
-
He was always great on counter attacks. Both 2nd and 3rd goal, he has shitload of space. He struggles against packed defences.
-
42m buyout. That made me chuckle.
-
Completely agree with you. We have a young squad and bound for ups and downs because they are not experienced, but at home, leading 2:0 against promoted side; no excuse for not winning the game. Absolutely none. But for some reason, I cant be pissed about Lamps or the boys.
-
Mount worked brilliantly for Lamps so far, maybe Tomori can do the same. Sheffield are phyisical side and the way they could score is to push through. They hardly posses any technicaly brilliant players. Imo having Tomori and Zouma will make it easier to deal with them compared to Ac who isnt the strongest. But question is Tomori ready for the step up? Physicaly he suits this game perfectly.
-
If its only a loan and he plays enough, this could be amazing move. He is realy talented and IMO generaly there is no better club to develop youth than Ajax right now. But he will have strong competition with Tagliafico.
