I'm with the board on this one. If Chelsea was ready to give him a 200k a week wage offer, then it makes sense to value him at 60+mil. There's no pressure to sell due to the Havertz deal going through (Saudi deals all go through post July 1).

Courtois went on loan for three seasons to Atletico where he played regular football before he was integrated at Chelsea. Asking Slonina, who's only 19, to start Premier League games now could destroy his confidence. He needs regular gametime on loan before we can decide to use him.

Wouldn't he be wary of going to City when they play with a lone DM and there is already Rodri and (hopefully) Kovacic joining?

I think club is looking for senior keeper since there is already a young prospect - Slonina.

I like his physical attributes but his touch and football IQ reminds a lot of Werner. I'm worried no matter how much Poch improves him, there are some basic limitations in his game.

Hope this is the unquestionably good attacking signing we've been waiting for. It's been years since an attacker joined the club and was good, consistent.

Arsenal are upgrading. Timber as a backup CB, Rice, Havertz and Lavia. Have to say they're being aggressive and picking up good players.

The transfer fee for Koulibaly is at book value 25m and for Mendy is 10m over book value at 18m Havent seen reliable reports on prices for Ziyech and Auba but their book values are 14.1 m and 5.3 m Safe to say Boehly and Co are cooking the books with these Saudi deals

We are breaking even (and turning profit) on accounting books on all of them (except Ziyech since we don’t know yet what’s the fee he’s going for )
