  1. No fucking around. Great to see Josh get a start
  2. Down to the heavy rotation. I hope Rosenior can put out a common sense XI tonight
  3. My worry is that the sports science guys are going to ask for lot of changes to the XI. I hope we don't make wholesale changes like in the reverse fixture. There is the weekend FA Cup game to rest players.
  4. A nothing rumor coming in February. I'd be surprised if he is actually on the striker shortlist.
  5. But for the defence conceding from set pieces, he'd have two more clean sheets vs Palace and Wolves.
  6. If anything shoulder injuries don't cause long term issues
  7. Can't see us getting 5th unless Aston Villa tail off. Man United look refreshed and have no cup games left. Lots of rest between their league games. Liverpool also look like they are starting to click.
  8. Beautiful video and the best attacker I've seen at the club
  9. Wouldn't trust any rumor till May
  10. 3 games vs bottom teams in the next 7 days and then nothing for a week. I fully expect mindless rotations and for us to drop points
  11. Classic BlueCo planning to let go of Tyrique with Gittens injured btw
  12. There are players who justify a 80m fee and there are players who don't justify even 40m. Enzo/Caicedo are good examples. Yildiz would be worth the gamble imo
  13. Sterling, Mudryk, Madueke, Neto, Gittens, Sancho on loan, Angelo, Estevao With the exception of Estevao (and Palmer if you want to include), not one winger signed by BlueCo has raised the level at the club. And hundreds of millions were spent. The owners are probably happy with the Madueke profit
  14. I hear you but the rebuild will be slow and the important part of the season is top 5 and keeping the CL money going. Without that, we are going to be hamstrung in the window again.
  15. So the brief from the board is we are a defender, midfielder and attacker short after being in charge of the last seven transfer windows
  16. Arsenal were conservative themselves making it harder to have a go at them without leaving gaps behind I thought. Agree that they took a while to make Arsenal sweat but they are the best defensive team in Europe playing a home game where they are protecting a lead.
  17. Anyone who doesn't acknowledge that Arsenal are quite good and that Rosenior is making some progress in a fixture crunch is not living in reality. Look at the season Arsenal are having - top of the league and 8/8 in Champions League. Running them as close as we did over two legs was more than what I hoped for. The gameplan today to sit back was the right way to go because the moment Arsenal score a goal, the tie was over.
  18. Competed well vs Arsenal over two legs. Decent starting XI, the right changes. Just not to be
  19. Surprised he went 50+ mins without a card
