  1. yeah. Azpi was great and the back four in general was solid for most of the game but even when having a good game, i feel Luiz is a ticking time bomb. Reduced drastically now but the odd mistakes are still there. By next season, he should be a beast
  2. Hehe. But here, all the useless stuff is there in 1st year of Engineering lol. Other way around
  3. Thanks for the mention but OPTB deserves it for some time now. Right winner
  4. A captain should be the one the rest of the players look up to. Luiz has got the passion for the role but he shouldn't rant at the referee - especially over something so trivial as a throw-in. The captain is the peace-maker between the team and the ref. It may have been the tipping point of a number of decisions but it was not a good example from Luiz. At this moment, I don't think anyone is a good fit to take over captaincy from the old guard but remember though, Luiz, Mata, Hazard, Azpilicueta etc have not been here long. Things could change in a year
  5. This Meme and Troll business are taking things too far. Few years ago, nobody would ridicule a player for fluffing a penalty but poor Sergio Ramos last year was the butt of a ridiculous number of jokes. The media will milk any small incident because for the first 75-80 mins the game was dead and this one incident is suddenly elevated to "big-controversy" status
  6. Fernandinho-Oscar would have been great
  7. Ha! Yeah. That was brilliant upper-body strength from Oscar given Anderson has grown fatter (if that's even possible) Do you think he will work in the pivot? Because he's not really a winger and Mata is our CAM
  8. Alex nominated Mufassir. He goes straight into the poll. His vote is worth 57 or something
  9. Luiz had a good game driving Chelsea from the back but he did have one bad moment with Rafael - not the corner flag incident everyone's talking about - but the moment when Rafael cut inside and Luiz went walk-about leaving Ivanovic alone in defence. thankfully, Rafael's cross was deflected behind. Ivanovic was pissed off at that point but that's one area where Luiz can work on - Positioning
  10. Will keep Bale in his pocket if Bale is on the left on Wednesday night. Top Player
  11. I think in different countries, you'll have different options for eg - India there's no Language to get into University.(few have English but very few) No Geography, History or any of the social sciences. Just Physics/Chem/Math and 1 more subject of your choice - Bio/Stats/Econ/Arts/Comp and so on...
  12. yeah. but expect him to start on the left channel and then drift as the game goes on. Keeps switching with Lennon as well.
  13. The font seems to have changed for me. A lot smaller now. Any way to increase the size?
  14. Azpilicueta and Ramires team up on the right side should be enough to contain Bale
  15. As the newcomer, you will be properly welcomed by a rowdy bunch of posters ranging from Belgium to Brazil.
  16. The team looked a bit jaded yesterday. Need a bit of freshness for Spurs. Cech © Azpilicueta Luiz Terry Cole Mikel Ramires Oscar Mata Hazard Ba Bench: Turnbull Ivanovic Cahill Bertrand Marin Moses Torres
  17. It will be interesting to see what sort of approach we take vs Spurs. Safety first? or Go for the throat?
  18. After the smile, he could've got up but held ankle (got kicked above it near back of knee) and rolled around
  19. Think that's the only way he can play central
  20. It was a stupid yellow card to pick up. Did you see other players arguing with the ref? I mean, yes, Webb was giving some decisions to United but it was nothing major. Nothing in Chelsea's half. This was not "tad ott", this was waaay over the top edit: @, Even FA Cup semi, he went after the ref after Bertrand's tackle. That was not over the top but still, he is not the "generally calm" person you're making him out to be. This is not an isolated incident. Luiz was the newcomer in the last 2 seasons but slowly he's working his way up the Chelsea ranks and now there have been more and more incidents involving Luiz. I love the passion but if he was calm, nobody would be hailing his passion and commitment.
  21. and did anyone else pick up a silly yellow for complaining? I rest my case on this. "In the future" seems appropriate
  22. Nope. I prefer a calm captain. Captain is the one speaking to ref? You saw Lampard speaking to the ref over the Luiz-Giggs incident. Badmouthing ref never helps as a captain. As i have said already , I'm perfectly allright if a player does that and i took particular satisfaction at Luiz laying into Webb but not as a captain. nope
