how is that a fact? Luiz has been the same way (carefree, joking, passionate etc) since he joined Chelsea and i'm guessing he was the same even before at Benfica and in brazil. i don't think he's that good an actor to keep it up in every interview, every training session, match in his career of over 7-8 years

i don't think he's playing up anything. that's just who he is. that's the way he's been since he's signed for Chelsea 3 years ago. maybe you don't rate him as a player but he's a genuine person at the end of it all.

I think it's a case of the club securing their primary target. Chelsea can easily afford the 20mil, so the price isn't really an issue. The reason (imo) they negotiated a lower price for so long is because the club values him lower. Otherwise the deal would be concluded long ago since he was available and wasn't at the World cup or anything

20mil is way too much for a Left back. especially a 29 year old, even the club felt so because they were haggling over 12-15mil for weeks
