Whether he is better or not I do not know because I have never watched Gabriel in action. But I would really much rather stick to Remy who has a few years experience playing in England as third choice striker than bring in a wonderkid from Brazil, in the summer we have already signed an expensive striker prospect in Batshuayi and with plenty of other areas in need of reinforcing. No I don't think I am crazy.

17 goals in the league, not to mention 11 assists. Hardly a goal threat? His supposed cons can be worked on, really, like holding on to the ball too long in attack, corner kicks. This signing is a no-brainer for me - the Premier League player of the season. Any other summer and this would have been a great signing. Since there are several positions in need of reinforcement this summer, I'd understand if we don't pursue him but as far as having him here goes, it's a definite yes for me.

I think Chelsea should try to get him. He is a really skilful player and he is available in this window but I wouldn't be too disappointed if we missed out on him either.

As third choice striker?

Herés the thing. I don't think he's a devastating young striker. And you should care if we splash out on Morata. It is unnecessary this summer. The club has only gone and splashed 34m on a young striker.

If Chelsea break the bank for a player, it would be disappointing if it is on Morata. Would rather pay for a quality midfielder In attack, Griezmann, Dybala, Aubameyang are better

We will look stronger retaining Costa and adding options around him. Don't think Costa is going to force his way out, not yet anyway, before even working under Conte. Even if (and its a big if) Costa leaves, the money quoted (75m Euros) is quite frankly ridiculous for a striker who was not even first choice at Juventus and doesn't even have a few consistent seasons as a striker under his belt. Agree Chelsea need options up-front but not necessarily Morata and definitely nowhere near the price quoted
