04-05 - The first and the best when I had just begun watching. 95 points.
16-17 - The Conte revival story was a lot of fun actually, in the year Pep Mourinho Klopp and Wenger were in the same league. After 3-0 at Arsenal, who would have thought?
05-06 - More of the same with Essien added to the midfield.
09-10 - Don Carlo's squad. Anelka, Malouda Drogba and Lampard going forward. 103 goals. 7-2, 7-1, 7-0, 8-0.
14-15 - The first half was exciting. Super football from Fabregas Oscar Hazard Costa. Won the League Cup too. The season kind of tailed off after the 5-3 at White Hart Lane and Jose parking it home for the rest of the season.
If Chelsea win the remaining 3 Premier League games, then it will be 30 wins and the record for most Premier League wins in a season beating out close competition from Chelsea (2004-05) and Chelsea (2005-06) - both 29.
We are winning this. It will be trickier than Boro for sure and more like the game at Everton but with Kante back, and the team pumped up, we are winning this
Win the league on Friday. Party in the weekend and lift the title on Monday at home to Watford.
Nice gesture to laud the away team and support at the end. He knows exactly what he is doing and it is a refreshing change from the Jose antics days.
Long may it continue!
So good to have someone with the ability to shoot from distance like Pedro, even with his weaker foot.
Goals against Tottenham, Bournemouth and now Everton (away from home too!) Crucial in opening up games for the team. Fantastic
Something feels off. Everton are not really attacking in numbers and are looking for the long-ball up to Lukaku, which means Chelsea have very little space to exploit on the break.
Everton are there for the taking if we can step it up in the second half. Alonso, Moses, Matic, Pedro, Costa - too many passengers at the moment
Who plays as RWB in case Moses is unavailable?
I think the best option right now is Azpilicueta at RWB with one of Zouma or Terry coming in at CB. Would ideally look to add options for both wing back positions next season
No doubt I would love to have a dribbler, creator who can shoulder the attacking responsibility and reduce the burden on Hazard but 60m or upwards for James Rodriguez would be a waste of the money generated from the Oscar deal.
There are a LOT of better, proven, consistent options in the market for that price. Pass.
