  1. One observation. Fans here on TC are an antsy bunch calling for movement, tempo etc. I am part of Chelsea groups where they made no mention of slow passing or movement in the entire half and are praising Alonso, Azpi's crossing, complaining about Norwich's low block
  2. We know what teams will come here and do. We have struggled all season with this. But even in the last few games of the season, there's little improvement in the buildup
  3. RLC is an extra body in the box at this point. Hardly involved in the buildup play
  4. This is better. I wish we were faster from the start. Faster with set pieces, faster with passing, TEMPO.
  5. Is it me or is the intensity pedestrian for a must win game? This team seriously lacks urgency at the start of games.
  6. The centrebacks rarely pass the ball down the middle. Often go side to side, diagonals. When they pass down the middle they tend to misplace it like Zouma there. Whoever is the centreback target, I hope they are comfortable on the ball and not just a tall, physical player to plug our setpiece weakness.
  7. Mount, Abraham, Barkley, James benched. Fair I think
  8. The Akinfenwa interview is one of the best interviews of our times. https://twitter.com/footballdaily/status/1282776771067346954?s=20
  9. All the worries over Kepa's record transfer fee in 2018 were proved right. For a long time I was of the opinion that it is a De-Gea type blip and he will come good eventually. But even in the restart he has been quite shaky and his lack of confidence compounds our average defending
  10. True. Swaps are rare. But post-pandemic we've already seen Pjanic-Arthur swap. Could see more clubs doing swaps this summer
  11. But it does seem like Lampard has earned the respect of the board and will have significant input on transfers. I generally like the players mentioned in the press as 'Lampard signings' too. Few months ago, we were looking at Moussa Dembele in attack but now have got Werner and Ziyech. Big gamble from Lamps to wait for the right player but it seems like it could just pay off^
  12. All our hopes on Leicester and Wolves now
  13. Or we may have to avoid defeat on final day
  14. Wow. I'm shook. Thought you're Swedish and didn't know what cricket is
  15. Harsh on Ndidi cos its a miskick from Schmeichel that totally surprised him
  16. Nervy ending. Test cricket feels good!
  17. Still 3rd! We are doing a repeat of last year
  18. Added benefit. This keeps the relegation fight alive and leaves West Ham with something to play for when they face United in the penultimate game
  19. Let's wait till this is done. Come on Solanke !
