  1. VAR still takes ages to overturn a ref's call
  2. Aaa forgot about this thread. Decent touches from Havertz so far.
  3. I still think its Dortmund saying pay or GTFO Up to United if they want to blow their budget on Sancho. Thankful that Chelsea had the foresight to stay out of this (I remember lot of us were excited that he is a Chelsea fan, was friends with Tammy)
  4. 'HAVERTZ WILL MOVE TO CHELSEA PRETTY SOON' Bayer Leverkusen's Germany midfielder Kai Havertz will move to Chelsea following the conclusion of the Bundesliga club's Europa League campaign, according to Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol.
  5. https://www.goal.com/en-in/news/xavier-mbuyamba-new-van-dijk-heading-to-chelsea-after/epn4xlerozcx1mv06c3o0lsmu Xavier Mbuyamba heading to Chelsea after Barcelona exit. Source: Nizaar Kinsella, Goal
  6. Yeah, it would be ideal if he stayed at Brighton for another year and get consistent top flight football
  7. Playing 30-40 games for Norwich is better than 20 for Fulham I think even if it is a level below. Especially when he's basically spent a season on the bench (Damn that stupid loan to Leipzig )
  8. There's hardly a clamour among the fanbase asking for him to be retained. Tells you everything really. We could have got something out of him for half of next season but three years was too much and the board should be commended for sticking to its stance. We can replace Willian with a willing squad player
  9. The rumors of going for alternatives at leftback could be true after all if we are actually negotiating for Rice and Ben White. These two will cost 80m+ easily
  10. Wrong comparison. Obviously better players will improve the defense but even with inferior players, Liverpool has a pressing system that we simply do not match. .
  11. Unlike in the Sancho situation, Bayer aren't in the CL (unless they win Europa) and don't have the resources Dortmund have. I can see this wrapping up after Bayer are knocked out of Europe this week
  12. 54 goals in a league season is not down to individual failures
  13. How about Connor Gallagher on loan as bait? A bit counter-productive for Connor going from Swansea to hoof-ball West Ham but in the overall scheme of things, if it helps sweeten the Rice deal, then it could be worth it.
  14. Dead against this. Send out the one young defender in a group of experienced failures this season? Terrible idea. Rudi/Zouma/Chris should face the chop before Tomori even if it is on loan
  15. Haven't seen who they're linked with but they have a record of targeting good players for a while now
  16. We didn't know this was the case. Inter's board knows how it has turned out in his previous club. I won't be surprised if he leaves tbh
  17. They may not be as relentless but they still look comfortably good enough for 85+ points. And they seem to be targeting depth like Jamal Lewis at left back, a striker to rotate the front 3. Klopp and the Liverpool recruitment team have been bang on with their signings for years apart from Minamino (jury still out) and Karius.
  18. Lovely. Nothing like a long drawn out transfer saga.
  19. Ya, some friends who cannot afford regular games at the Bridge often used to go to Fulham vs Chelsea and they never felt that Fulham was a 'rival' Not that going to a game is gonna be an option anytime soon but still
  20. Do we need a stop gap though? Think we need two starting CBs anyway
  21. Now I get why Lampard's asking for a later start date
