  1. Know there were no indications he's leaving but this quote is still welcome https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1519307151856001026?s=20&t=qqOt9-5utdxKd1hoBiNhOw
  2. So frustrating to see top stars decide on deals in April nowadays
  3. I don't think we can find 3 CBs. Reece will fill in and we bring in a pacy wingback.
  4. Lampard almost sold him to Spurs. 2021 Porto wouldn't have happened if Rudiger wasn't around for the CL run. I can understand why he's leaving.
  5. Livra's clause kicks in next year too. There is a need for a wingback this summer itself I'd say.
  6. Yeah handing Rudiger what he wants is a slippery slope. It will be common for players to run down contracts and take signing on fees in the future. But there's no need to put the club in a bad position for one desperate deal. Even Rudiger - for all his qualities - is replaceable.
  7. Yep. there are good options for the winger position - hardworking, off-the-ball workers. Need to ensure this signing is a good finisher.
  8. 3 more wins will be enough for 4th. Spurs can get a maximum of 73 now and that is if they beat Arsenal and Liverpool.
  9. If he really wanted to stay, he'd wait to hear the offer from the new owners. We just have to accept and rebuild.
  10. More chance of Brentford getting something at Spurs later than United here
  11. I'm still hopeful Rudiger will have one conversation with new owners and he can be convinced to sign up
  12. https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/2022/04/22/fa-cup-final-kick-off-time--match-officials-and-team-colours-con Wearing yellow in the FA Cup final. Why?
  13. I remember Boulahrouz just had shockers for us, even Del Horno was bad.
  14. Not his fault. The technical level was too high for him to be involved. Why wasn't Chalobah considered? Seemed like Sarr was picked for his left-footedness. Wrong call, especially when the CB who played there all year is right footed.
  15. Yeah, we are looking at 3 wins out of the 7 remaining games. Top 4 is in our hands but last night was avoidable stuff, especially when we've had 3 good games on the bounce. I'd leave the rotation for the West Ham game given they have a cup semi midweek.
  16. It was a 4th round Carabao Cup selection in a crunch Premier League game. 5 point gap with a game in hand still and I don't think there's real danger of Spurs or Arsenal catching up let alone both of them. But still - could have locked up the season much earlier and then rotated.
