  1. I don’t trust Matt Law as a source since the regime change
  2. For the team to care again and for the owners to be humble, not try to mould everything in their vision - let the experts they have hired do their job.
  3. Regarding keeper - is there someone who is robust and good with their feet. Will need someone able to play sensibly under a high press Southampton could get relegated so Lavia should be available as long as City don't have a buyback clause.
  4. > Pochettino, Kompany and one highly-rated candidate whose identity Chelsea have managed to keep secret. > Nagelsmann was still being spoken about as a prominent name on a four-man short-list earlier on Friday. Then, later in the day, he was considered to be no longer in the frame. > Nagelsmann met Chelsea officials recently for an initial round of talks held outside England. The sense was that those discussions went well. There were plans for a second meet-up in London though that did not materialise as Nagelsmann decided Chelsea were not right for him. > He ultimately had some doubts about the set-up he would be joining. He made the decision to pull out on Thursday — even if it took 24 hours for that to become public knowledge. > Chelsea sources dispute this and say Nagelsmann was not favorite. They decided he was not quite the right fit — a conclusion they reached unanimously. > Pochettino impressed in talks and has mentioned a few of the players from the current squad that he would like to be part of his plans next season if he is granted the chance to take over. > Kompany appreciated for his leadership skills, third candidate is reputed for his tactics in a lesser league, is least likely candidate. > Luis Enrique talks were positive but club had concerns he's not managed in the league or at club-level for a while.
  5. Club pushing the view that Enrique made quite a few demands. Nagelsmann too was cautious about the powerplay within the club and had concerns over recruitment and club structure.
  6. That is harsh. It is incredibly hard to win a trophy as Chelsea itself has found out in the recent past. Cannot assume every manager who's operating in the level below the Man City's of the world is okay with not winning anything.
  7. Seems to be they’re taking time for the sake of it ? By the end everyone will drop out and wouldn’t want to be part of our circus I am resigned to a yes-man version of Poch.
  8. The squad doesn't need a massive overhaul. GK, ST, one more CM. Trim the squad to 25 or even lesser - Give a proper chance to all available in-house - Maatsen, Hall, Colwill.
  9. Club seems to be looking for another yes-man and Enrique and Nagelsmann both don't fit the bill I can see them going to Poch
  10. I get that we might lose but to do it with coward lineups in both legs is something
  11. Koulibaly too. Transfer fee maybe less but huge contract
  12. With the kind of coaches at our rivals - Pep who is known for drilling attacking patterns till players tire of it and Klopp, who focuses heavily on pressing patterns - Lampard's vibes are not going to cut it at all. We need a proper coach and rebuild
  13. I'd rather Arsenal win the league than City continue dominating
  14. The Ted Lasso comparisons are more apt with Lampard
  15. Scenes when we need a win on the final day to avoid relegation
