  1. Newcastle lead at Spurs. Competition for top 4 is intense this year
  2. Taking the 1-1 - Relieved it wasn't a loss honestly. Without Fofana, Kante, Reece (and Koulibaly yesterday). I am keeping expectations at top 4
  3. The last league win vs United was in 2017 - that Morata header. We've been favorites for most of the games since then (bar the season opener when Lampard took over) and have not managed a single win. Hoping the team turns up the intensity from the last two performances tonight.
  4. Two poor performances vs Villa and Brentford. Potter had no choice but to rotate - taking Mount off may have been a sports science decision since he's started every game. But need to pick up the intensity once again for the United game this weekend.
  5. Just because Broja didn't hold his knee and roll over there was no review of that
  6. Broja looks possessed. That looked like a last man foul on him!
  7. Broja has started well. Looks quick across the ground while pressing
  8. Hoping the swansong is in time for the Champions League knockouts. His running in a knockout game is huge
  9. and played quite well in them - in the last few at least. Despite all his flaws, I think he has become important because his physicality is needed in midfield for certain situations. Especially with Kante out and Zakaria in limbo.
  10. Wants pay on par with Azpi and can't blame him for asking that. The club should move him along with Azpi in the summer.
  11. Yeah. Need to sign someone comfortable in another position but its not impossible. Spurs had this problem with Kane and struggled with Carlos Vinicius, Llorente, Son covering and now seem to have got around it by signing Richarlison. We'll have to get in a Simakan type who plays CB and RB rather than a specialist RB
  12. We have to work the smart market for another couple of years at least - supplement the core of James, Mount, Sterling, Fofana (fingers X) with quality players across the pitch - the likes of Caicedo if Bellingham/FdJ don't come. The summer was enough to let us know we are below the very top layer of clubs now and we are lucky that we've got Mount and James planting roots here for years
  13. The fees sound reasonable but if a club like United target him I can see it going back up to the 70m level. Either way hope the clubs steers clear
  14. I agree. Unfortunately, the setup at City is far superior and if they offer a squad space - I can see Gundogan making way - then he will head there. Liverpool and Madrid want him too so basically very slim hopes of this.
  15. I think few mids have edged ahead of Rice in the last year. Bellingham, FdJ are the ones I would be excited about targeting.
  16. I think the dropoff will come but they don't look like they will combust like in previous years.
  17. Parody account but still I find it hilarious how Barca's season is going - the likes of Kounde were making fun of Chelsea after the opening Champions League game.
  18. Actually saw how useful he can be yesterday. Came on and helped gain a bit of control in midfield. As long as he's not first choice, he's a calming midfield influence to have
  19. I have switched off the title race talk. I think Kante, Fofana and Reece out for the next month - we will do well to stay within touching distance. Kepa saved the team yesterday
  20. I know ten weeks in and all but things are too perfect for Arsenal right now
