Deadline day 2017 is pants. I'm not in the UK anymore, but I'd imagine that Sky are hating this. Nothing to talk about.

-
Pedro has 3 goals in his last 2 matches playing the same position.
-
Costa on for Pedro. 352 maybe? RLC in to the midfield 3?
-
there it is. Kenedy for Dave
-
Legend!!!
-
I think Bats looks better than the last round. He's looking to link play when he collects the ball outside the box. He looked happier with his assist than the goal he scored last round.
-
I hope we can put this to bed quick enough to allow some players to come off. I'd like to see Ake to LCB, and Kenedy on for Azpi at LWB.
-
Bats is playing totally differently from the last round. He's coming deep a lot more and looking to link up play much more than just a month ago. Smiled more for his assist than his goal last month. I like that.
-
Conte's stated before that he thinks Pedro can play as WB. He played left WB last round. Whatever site that was, got the positions wrong.
-
Everyone dropping points this weekend. Huge match for us. Need all 3. First real test
-
Don't forget the other part. Bitching about the obscene amounts of money while, without a shred of irony, spending amounts that would make 99% of the clubs in England blush.
-
That's what I was thinking. Was scrolling down to post. Remy with 8?!

I didn't know where to put this article, so I thought here. It's one of the active threads that not about transfers or Diego Costa. It's a US based site that came from the ashes of quite a good site called Grantland, if anyone doesn't know about it. https://theringer.com/chelsea-two-man-midfield-nemanja-matic-ngolo-kante-acc4b8d2ebbe#.za5kenbm8

Judging only by the YouTube videos (I know), he's a very tidy finisher. All kinds of angles and shapes, different kinds of balls in to him. Only 5'11, but he's got some leap on him and really attacks the ball in the air.
-
I can understand why he wants to go (if the China stories are true). It's A LOT of money. It's the kind of money that takes care of generations of his family. If offered 3x your wages, I think most people would get their resignation in ASAP. It's unfortunate for us as a club, the timing is terrible. But, we're on the other side of the fence all the time. Napoli didn't want to sell Koulibaly to us, they didn't. We tried, but it didn't work. The player wanted to come. I'm sure OM wanted to keep Bats, but they money was right, so they sold. Loyalty in football these days is a one-way street (for the most part). Loyalty = If you're a really good player, we (fans) want you to stay at the club. If they aren't up to scratch, we can't wait to see the back of them. I'd love for him to stay at the club, because he's an important player. But, I don't blame him for taking care of himself and his family. But, I will say, the club should hold out for more money. If they want to pay him 500K a week, and Oscar is worth 60. Diego should be sold for 100-120M.

There's no way this happens
-
Is Lookman even able to drive? He looks like he's 12. Makes Sterling look like Minala
-
That's been a theme, hasn't it? Everton tried it, didn't even last 45 min.
-
Nothing's wrong with it. I didn't say it was a bad decision. I said that he probably doesn't love it. From important first XI to not being on the bench.
-
Ake probably doesn't love this either. Hopefully, we can put this away and Bats can get some playing time, not just the last 5 seconds like when Diego was suspended. I don't blame Conte though. Massive 3 points up for grabs. Have to get back to winning ways.
-
When the news of his recall came around, my immediate reaction was to assume he was going to play as LCB. We'll see.
-
I'd like to see us try out a 352 from the start.
-
Kessie + Kante + Cesc. I'd love to see us play 352 with that midfield. Verratti in the summer, Cesc and Matic for rotation/cover next season. I'm getting ahead of myself, that's FIFA talk.
-
Um....so, that would be Oscar for Verratti? How quickly can we get this done?
