  1. I agree, the spurs game will tell us who really is worthy to start against Barcelona.
  2. Yes a manger like Pep would certainly attract many players but I am not sure if he is the right man for Chelsea.Granted he's having some great moments with Barcelona but attracting top players wont be enough for reviving this club.We need a manager who can mix experience and youth(our own academy players preferably) together and who knows a lot about the English league.
  3. I am sure he will rise to a game of such high magnitude.Torres on the other hand,is as erratic as Drogba and his predictable style really agitates me as it results in losing out on possession.
  4. Apart from the vast experience and qualifications, the benefit of getting a qualified and reputed manager is that it will help attract 'top' players.I think we got Deco because of Scolari and the obvious high wages but if we appoint someone like Fabio,I am sure top players will want to play for Chelsea as they will get the chance to play under one of the greatest managers and earn high wages.
  5. Perhaps strength and not pace will help baffle their defense,in which case Drogba is the better option.
  6. yeah but Torres will be too doggy against Barcelona and most of the Barcelona players will know his tricks considering they are international team-mates.
  7. Shouldn't really rely too much on statistics.
  8. Torres should start for this game so that Drogba can start against Barcelona.
  9. Knowing that he had a good understanding with Torres could have helped a lot and he could have been a great squad player for us.He's a better CAM than Raul and his cheeky passes could have benefited our strikers..AVB's decisions were too predetermined as he focused too much on the future and Yossi was not part of his future plans.
  10. Yes,Raul is more experienced than Josh but keeping Raul for another season or a half might ruin our chance of ever getting rid of him.
  11. Agree with your list but not too keen on keeping Raul for another season. Some clubs have shown interest in him and if these are rumors are true then I think we should definitely sell him.Granted he is a decent squad player but his departure will help Josh get more games and we must focus on implementing youth.Josh may not getting chances at Swansea but that's only because Swansea have some great midfielders and are accustomed to that kind of style,so its difficult for Rodgers to break that flow.
  12. Wigan's win over Utd shows that we were lucky enough to snatch a late winner.
  13. Ramires will be a better option for right back than Bosingwa.
  14. He must play but then again if does play the whole game, will Torres start against Barcelona?
  15. I don't care if our kit is even pink,I just want this club to do well next season.
  16. Are you sure because the Merseyside Derby is on Saturday and not Sunday right?
  17. Like always, they going to show it on Pix,so don't worry.
  18. Didn't know the username was common so just chill out.
  19. He needs to improve his dribbling.Crashing into defenders with predictable step overs and turns will not help.
  20. Now all we need is Bosingwa to punch someone so that Paulo can play.lol
  21. Spurs aren't in good form and neither are we so this will be a very boring match and could possibly go to penalties..Once again the midfield and defense will pass more to Cech than to the three upfront. The only chances of us scoring would be either from an offside goal or from a penalty or maybe perhaps from a post/player rebounded shot. RDM will look forward to chewing gum to 90 or 120 minutes of absolute rubbish unless our players decide to play more like a team and show some real commitment and enthusiasm as they did at the start of Roberto's managerial reign.
