When he does take the rare chance of his own,he screws up miserably. That being said he can be very unselfish at times which is a great quality but not one for a center forward.

Guys he's not going come out and talk to the media because everyone knows that he doesn't want to stay.I think it was quite clear from the Lewandowski rumors during Ferguson's reign that Rooney will be surplus to requirements but since that move didn't materialize,things have been really messy. I think Moyes will let him leave and join us but only on deadline day because by then we would have already played 2 league games( one of which is against United).So I guess he's just trying to delay the move as late as possible.

The academy setup at Chelsea is very different when compared to the other big clubs.We have loads of potential talent but the problem is that we always overcrowd positions with world class players every year.This makes it really hard for the academy players to break through to the first team and hence have to play 45 minutes a month. The only ideal solution for them is to either loan them out so that they can actually play 90 minutes a week or change our transfer policy but as the latter looks very highly unlikely the loan option is the only best solution. I personally feel that the manager and the board should get together and agree to a mandatory target of promoting at least one academy player to the first team every year and here I am not just talking about rare few minutes but like an actual target of say a given fair amount of time a season

I think its foolish to bash an important Chelsea figure like Ray Wilkins just because he doesn't agree with the Rooney deal.Wilkins was a great player and coach for us and deserves more respect.If he doesn't approve of the deal then so be it but to say he's drunk or crazy is simply just disrespectful.

I believe if we are to wait for a year then Rooney shouldn't be considered as a primary target then.Its either now or never.

oh stop whining about the kick off time.This is going to be one hell of a match and its worth watching whenever the inconvenient time it may be. For me this is going to be at 06:30 and I hate getting up early but since I stayed up to watch the Confeds final at 5am there is no way I am going to miss this.

So here's my view about this whole transfer saga- We get Rooney,have a wonderful striker from a major rival club and may end up dominating the league. We don't get him but still have a decent strike force and United will have a very fragile unsettled striker in their team. End result of both possible outcomes- Moyes gets mindfucked throughout. LOL just gotta love Mourinho,using the Media as our 12th man.
