  1. Stats like that are so silly. There are so many other factors as to why we only won 3 when he's played and/or why we've dropped 8 points after he came on.
  2. They can't possibly do any worse than what we've got and they have barely got any chance to even show what they can do.
  3. But Hazard is not your average player who doesn't care about competition, is he? What would he gain by going back to Ligue 1? He's already achieved everything he could there and if he wants to become one of the best in the world, the French league is not the place to achieve that.
  4. Maybe but it's another risky buy, isn't it? Haven't we had enough with such deals in the past already? Why are we putting ourselves in another similar situation? Why can't the club just get someone who is actually good? If we are looking at a short term solution, I would rather see us play the youth and build for the future. Barely have anything left to play for this season anyway.
  5. Like I said... On top of that, there's a few things to consider... 1. With so many attacking talents at Real Madrid, where would Hazard fit in? 2. Hazard may like Zidane and Zidane may like Hazard but is he guaranteed to start every week with the likes of Ronaldo, Bale, Rodriguez, Jese, Isco etc all around? 3. Does Hazard want to get involved with the politics at Real Madrid? The situation with the fans, owner and media can get pretty nasty quickly. Just ask Bale or even Ronaldo.
  6. Our obsession with washed-up strikers. Torres, Falcao, Pato. There's something deeply wrong with this club.
  7. The summer. So, if they want to buy, they have to do it this month. Otherwise, they can't buy/register till the summer of 2017.
  8. Unless Real offer a minimum of 100m, it would be incredibly silly of us to even sell Hazard. We all want to get back to the top but here we are, wanting the club to sell our most talented player, our best player (ignore current form etc). Isn't that somewhat counter-productive?
  9. I doubt he would want to return to Ligue 1, where the competition is almost non-existent. In fact, he's already said before that he doesn't want to return to France.
  10. Own Goal has more goals than Hazard.
  11. @Barbara, go to 'My Attachments' under your name at the top. I believe you can delete the images from there.
  12. Our league goalscorers this season... Costa - 6 Own Goal - 4 Willian - 3 Oscar - 3 Azpilicueta - 2 Pedro - 2 Ramires - 2 Falcao - 1 Remy - 1 Matic - 1 Ivanovic - 1 Zouma - 1 Cahill - 1 Give Own Goal a new contract!
  13. + Everton have the second best defensive away record in the league this season, conceding only 9 goals. Only Crystal Palace have let in fewer (8).
  14. Someone should go and ask (and maybe spam as well) Allegri on Twitter...
  15. Entertaining game? What on earth was he watching?! (not even speaking from a Chelsea perspective)
  16. To think that we actually ditched Mata and/or De Bruyne for Oscar. He's clearly 'repaying' that faith and truth in abundance!
  17. Agree. It's almost as if we're trying to turn every wide player we sign into another Willian. It's painful to watch Pedro (or others) playing like a winger when he isn't one. That said, someone should have a word with him about keeping things simple more next time. Think sometimes he tries to overdo it a little bit with the whole dribbling and taking on players.
  18. Fair play to Hiddink for not being afraid to bring on young players but as some have said, why on earth did the team drop so deep against West Brom (no offence but it's WEST BROM FFS!!!)? Why did he use only 2 subs? Could and should have used the last 1 after they equalized!!
  19. It's like Laylabelle said above - considering what we saw at the weekend against Scunthorpe, it perhaps wasn't a surprise to see what we did against West Brom. It says a lot about our predicament that we're hoping for a good performance rather than expecting one. It was such a listless, uninspired, insipid performance. We're playing West Brom at HOME and we barely put them under any sustained pressure. Sure, we had some good spells but only like for what? 1-2 minutes each time? We had a few shots here and there and that was it. Barely created any real chances and had to rely on Own Goal (again) for our second goal (seriously Roman, give him a new contract!). I also couldn't believe my eyes that we gave West Brom so much of the possession - way too much for a Tony Pulis side especially away from home. It was utterly pathetic and the fact that they had 6 shots on target (SIX!!!) to our 2 (ONLY TWO!!!) summed us up really.
  20. @Tomo, so how are you feeling now? Pulis gets his first ever league point at the Bridge.
  21. WHY ARE WE GIVING WEST BROM SO MUCH OF THE POSSESSION????????????????
