Arsenal losing 2-0. Oh the joy of getting knocked out yesterday...
-
The reaction here represents everything wrong with the football fans these days.

To be fair to Pedro, he was starting to come really good before his last injury. Sure, his last few games back then was against Newcastle, Man City reserves etc but we all saw his qualities and what he can bring to the side. Even recall some of you lot here were praising him that time. Shame that his injury put him on the back foot again.

I remember someone said on here that Courtois doesn't seem to be like one of those keepers who makes save after save after save and drags the team out of trouble. Sure he does produce some outstanding saves from time to time but I can't remember him having one game where the opponents didn't have a chance of beating him. Always seem to concede at least one goal and of late, he's been conceding lots of cheap goals!

What's the point of Pato really? I get it that he needed some pre-season training work when he came but it's nearly 2 months already and he's still not playing?! At least Miazga already got some game time with the U21s yesterday but if we aren't going to let Pato play for the U21s to build up his fitness, if we aren't going to play him in the first team, then what's the point of him being here?!

Confirmed. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/mar/11/newcastle-rafael-benitez-new-manager?CMP=share_btn_tw I can't believe it!

Benitez to Newcastle.

So what if Costa, Fabregas etc have performed better than they did 2-3 months ago? They're still a major reason why we are where we are right now.

No. We are failing right now because almost, if not all, of the players couldn't be bothered to turn up this season. Had at least half turned up, we wouldn't be in this mess and that's without including the rubbish Mourinho caused before he got the sack. You know that. This idea of placing most of the blame on Hazard just because he won us the title last season is silly. Sure, he has to carry some of the blame but don't we all agree he only really turned up from February onward to drag us over the line? Before that, he was only good in spades and it was Costa, Fabregas etc who put us in the commanding position at the top of the league. Don't see them getting vilified this badly.
-
Placing SOME of the blame for the mess we're in is fine. But placing ALL? Oh no no. That's an absolute nonsense thing to do!
-
One player doesn't determine whether we qualify for the Champions League or not. We've got far bigger issues in this squad than just Hazard. People who are keen to blame him, are just desperate for a scapegoat, desperate to confirm their paranoia with him.
-
We've slipped out of the elites since 2009/10 season really. Our results and performances since then have been desperate for a supposed European giant.
-
It's almost as if we're trying to become as bad as we can so that Conte will have another identical job to the one he had at Juventus on his hands.
-
Just saw the goals and , what a pathetic excuse for a supposed top club. How easy was it for PSG to just cut through us for both goals? Full backs got caught out of position, someone exploited the space vacated, crossed and bam(!), goal. Talk about real BS defending!
-
THIS just got a whole lot bigger! Fun Fact - Everton have only won 4 home games in the Premier League season and the wins came against Sunderland, Newcastle, Aston Villa and...Chelsea.
-
Inadvertently missed the game and judging by the result and reaction of others, it was probably a good thing!

People need to make up their mind. People want the team to be strong in adversity, to be capable of reacting when losing etc. But when we do that, people then moan about the manager being lucky.
