  1. I don't disagree with you. Was just looking at the positives in this s*** season!
  2. Funnily enough, our fortunes at Villa Park began to change when Hiddink came in the first time around in 2008/09. Before that season, we've only won 5 times in 16 Premier League visits to Aston Villa - drawing 6 and losing 5 of the other games. In fact, we were winless in 9 visits before 2008/09 - D6 L3. Since 2008/09 onwards, we've recorded 5 wins in 8 visits - drawing 1 and losing 2 of the other 3.
  3. Good to see we are not a completely useless side. 15 league games unbeaten now - that's the longest managed by anyone this season and funnily enough, we're just 1 away from equaling our unbeaten streak of last season.
  4. That depends on whether Christensen wants to return. He seems adamant on staying at Gladbach for at least another season.
  5. Winless in last 4 games but surely, SURELY, we'll beat Aston Villa today? Would really sum up our debacle season if we don't win.
  6. Swansea vs Chelsea PRE-MATCH DISCUSSION AND LIVE CHAT 2015/16 Premier League Match 32 9th April, Saturday, 2016 Liberty Stadium 15:00 Kick Off (UK time)
  7. I'm not implying those free kicks were flukes. They were great but it doesn't change the fact that he only managed to do that for 3-4 months and doing it for only such a short period of time doesn't make one a specialist.
  8. But stats don't always tell the whole story, do they?
  9. One of the best deadball specialist in Europe? 3-4 months of scoring from free kicks doesn't make one a specialist.
  10. His corner deliveries have, more often than not (like 90% of the time), failed to beat the first man in the box. So, I'm not sure what is so surprising there.
  11. Let him go. Who cares about what Courtois said? We have the great Marco Amelia!
  12. Don't think they have been unreasonable. At least when they defend Belgian, they use reasons to argue their point, right or wrong. Better than hitting back at them because they share the same nationality.
  13. If we can't beat Aston Villa, maybe we should take their place at the bottom of the table.
  14. With home games against Spurs, Man City and Leicester to come, I'm not sure Hiddink would even play the kids.
  15. It will be vintage Chelsea if we lose here.
  16. The difference here is while Courtois may be only 23 years old, he is a lot more experienced than most of the young players out there and as Amels alluded to, he has been making the same mistakes over and over and over again. Doesn't seem to be learning from it!
  17. Beaten at his near post...again. F**cking joke! Starting to think he is overrated.

  19. Aston Villa 0-4 Chelsea POST-MATCH DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS 2015/16 Premier League Match 31 2nd April, Saturday, 2016 Villa Park 12:45 Kick Off (UK time) FT Villa 0-4 Chelsea (Loftus-Cheek, Pato, Pedrox2)
  20. Oh god. Not another thread about formations! To make life easier, I've merged the recent threads about tactics/formations into one and pinned it at the top. So please use this thread to discuss anything related to it!
  21. There is nothing to lose yes but why even bother getting him if we aren't going to use at all? 2 months in and he's still not fit enough to get at least 30 minutes of game time?
  22. The same thing that you have posted before.
  23. Think the more important thing is to see how Italy fare under Conte in that tournament. They haven't been entirely convincing so far.
