  1. You spoiled the fun! Think it's because Kepa is still the most expensive keeper on earth and he was our #1 for 1-2 seasons.
  2. Nikki was too young to be on TC back then.
  3. Why is Kane even still mentioned as a possible target? Haaland was definitely added into the piece only for clicks and SEO purposes. Just regurgitating the same info all over again. Clueless. Only new bit there is about Bellingham…
  4. Not sure how much can we really read into the early season fixtures because teams might still be feeling their way into the season etc. Once we get those first six games out of the way, we can build up ahead of steam with the "easier" run of games until January, similar to what we did in 2016/17. Getting a return of at least 12 points from the first six is probably not a terrible return. That being said, if last season's results under Tuchel are anything to go by, it's those "easier" run of games after the first six games that are gonna be problematic.
  5. Narrator: Nope, it isn't. Not this time. We go to Anfield in the third game of the season and then host Liverpool in early January.
  6. Gotta remember that if we do sign Hakimi, we'll miss him for a few games in January due to the AFCON, if it does go ahead as scheduled.
  7. Think he's no longer a candidate for them.
  8. We start at HOME to Crystal Palace. AND we also face Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and City in the first 6 games! LMAO
  9. Referring to this? It's from Ian McGarry and Duncan Castles on whatever podcast they did. Both are BSers. He has also been seen on holiday with Mahrez.
  10. Meanwhile, over at Stamford Bridge.....
  11. Touted as possible replacement for Salah... Also...
  12. The only thing that could make City turn to Haaland is if Levy really stands his ground and insists on not selling Kane.
  13. Is the source SI quoted - Ekrem Konur - even reliable? I don't see any of the other notable journalists even following him on Twitter even though he's got the blue tick. Also, if Haaland is really gonna costs only €110 million, I doubt clubs would just be sitting around and doing nothing. We wouldn't have been trying to consider all possibilities to get a deal going. Plus, that €110 million isn't that big of a difference to his release clause and if so, all the more reason Dortmund won't sell him this summer.
  14. Think the circumstances were different with Havertz's case last year. It was clear from the beginning that he wanted to go (even before the season finished), Leverkusen were open to selling him and we wanted him and then made the move to sign him. With Haaland, the club are either still exploring whatever options possible to sign him because of the enormity of the deal or this all will peter out into nothing as they move to look for other solutions. Either way, I hope the club don't try to drag this on like United did with Sancho last year because from what has been reported, Dortmund's stance seems pretty clear and obvious - they don't want to sell Haaland this summer and it will take only a mega bid for them to maybe change their mind. There has also been no noise from Raiola on this, although it can be looked at in two different ways. So either we are committed financially into making this deal happen (including paying bonkers wages and fees to Haaland, Raiola etc) or we just move on to other solutions. The new season starts in just under 2 months and pre-season starts in about 2-3 weeks.
  15. If he did, then it says a lot about his cluelessness in getting the best out of the attackers. Easy to do it with the defenders or goalkeeper when it's just a case of plucking and dropping them into positions.
  16. Next season's Premier League fixtures will be released on this Wednesday (June 16) at 9am UK time.
  17. lol Either he didn't do it intentionally and was just namechecking the signings or he did it intentionally...
  18. The point is, 90 million isn't exactly a lot for the big clubs out there and most of the time, clubs don't pay the full fee upfront in major transfers anyway. It tends to be done in installments.
  19. 90 million + loan back? If that was possible, I'd like to think that the other clubs would be trying to do the same thing.
