I don't think Dortmund are interested in getting a player from us. If they are gonna sell, they want pure hard cash of more than 150 million. Here's also another thing to note, given our large squad right now, we also need to make sure we sell some unwanted players first - e.g. Abraham - because otherwise, we're gonna end up with an even bigger squad if we can't sell after buying a new player. In Abraham's case, there doesn't seem to be any takers for him at the moment.

Do you think Dortmund care about that? Their stance has been that Haaland is not for sale this summer and if they stick with that, 80-100 million is not going to persuade them to sell when they will get a similar amount next year. Keeping him for another season would help them to qualify for the Champions League and the money they get from the qualification will help them make up the difference.

Arsenal have made some very questionable transfer decisions under Arteta. Given their current state now, think it's fair to say that they can't afford White to be a bust, especially for that kind of money.

Given almost the entire first team squad is gonna be away when pre-season starts, hardly a surprise if Tuchel needs the numbers to fill up the spaces and use that to maybe assess 2-3 players. May or may not come to anything in the end.
