  1. I don't disagree at all. But if we're talking about top 4, then a distribution of say 15, 15, 10, 10 might well be enough. Different case if we're talking for the title.
  2. The goalscoring burden should not be only on Morata and Hazard. Others have to contribute as well. When we had successful seasons in the past, we usually had at least 3-4 players contributing at least 10 goals. Take our 16/17 season for example - Costa, Hazard, Pedro and Willian each scored more than 10 goals - 20, 17, 13 and 12 respectively in all competitions. And if we look at last season's top four, three of the teams had at least 3 players who scored more than 10 goals in the Premier League: Man City - Sterling (18), Aguero (21), Sane (10), Jesus (13) Liverpool - Salah (32), Firmino (15), Mane (10) Spurs - Kane (30), Son (12), Eriksen (10) So, Willian, Pedro, Giroud, Barkley etc MUST also contribute their fair share of goals.
  3. I find that statement ironic. You have watched Hudson-Odoi and Pedro and so, you conclude the former is better than the latter, which is fine. But have you watched Kepa before? If not, then how can you conclude we are weaker in the keeper area with him replacing Courtois? Is it just because you, like the majority, have never heard of him before this past week?
  4. Indeed. They had us as reference but turned a blind eye when going after Mourinho. Guess they were desperate to win trophies, like manpe said, and get a high profile manager after the Moyes and Van Gaal fiascos and decided to get Mourinho without proper thought.
  5. It's comical how after all these years, their first choice full backs are still Valencia and Young.
  6. I have not been reading RedCafe but I would think the vibe isn't great at all. Hard to feel great when your manager has been moaning about anything and everything every week and your two arch rivals have been outshining you. We all felt the same with the former situation when Mourinho was in charge. Doubt it's any different with the United fans at this point.
  7. Yeah and looks like they will probably sack him sooner or later if nothing changes. Should have listened to Bobby Charlton, who never wanted Mourinho to begin with.
  8. Their situation is hilarious. United always think long term and yet, they hired a manager who is only interested on short term and because of that difference, the club aren't happy with Mourinho. It's almost as if Ed Woodward and co. were oblivious to Mourinho before hiring him.
  9. There's always one every single time...
  10. The Madrid derby is gonna be fun. He might even get more hate from the Atletico fans than us!
  11. Yes but like I said, it's just TWENTY MINUTES in a PRE-SEASON match! Let see what happens in competitive games but at the moment, it seems like you're just being paranoid because of all the circumstances and trying to make a mountain out of molehill.
  12. I know what you're trying to say but isn't it a tad ridiculous to judge Hazard based on ONE appearance in a PRE-SEASON match? He had only returned from his summer break the day before and he came on for only the last 20 minutes against Lyon. Put those circumstances together, it's hard to even pass judgment on him. And that's without even mentioning that he and the others are still trying to adapt to Sarri's methods! Now, god knows what will happen in the future but since he hasn't got his move to Real (pray nothing happens between now and August 31), he's better off just refocus, go out and enjoy himself out there and win games for us. If he doesn't want to sign that new contract, then fine. Just go out there, play well and see what happens in 2019, see if Real come for him when it would cost them less in transfer fee. If he goes AWOL mentally, it's not going to help anyone and in his case, it might deter Real from making a move for him. The ball is in his court really.
  13. The world is only big enough for one @Mana. We don't need another one!
  14. Dude, there was only like 90 minutes left in the transfer window when you opened it. What's the point?
  15. I guess the manager's playing style does have its attraction. Kovacic and Boateng reportedly rejected Man United because of Mourinho's playing style.
