  1. There's 5 million add-ons. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/jun/30/jadon-sancho-set-to-join-manchester-united-after-78m-deal-agreed
  2. That data was from February 2020 - February 2021 only in PL and of course, it was the total agent fees of all the players we signed during that period. This obviously is just one player and if it's true that the club doesn't see the RWB as a priority position to improve on, then I guess they deemed Hakimi was not worth it to pay so much for.
  3. He must have been really desperate to get back into the PL...
  4. Matt Law did suggest that if the club are really gonna push the boat out on agent fees, wages etc, it'll be for Haaland. Feels like this could end up being a classic case of the manager and club don't see eye-to-eye on a particular signing.
  5. According to Matt Law in this podcast... - Not a lot is going on with Haaland. All just rumors, silly talks etc - There were some talks with Inter about Hakimi but the club didn't want to pay the large amount of agent fees and wages. Tuchel may want a RWB signing, but the club don't see it as a priority because James, Azpi are still around. Club tried offload tp Alonso etc in a deal for Hakimi but Inter couldn't afford their wages - Livramento not seen as an option for next season. Tuchel definitely wants a player who can play RWB/RB/RW and make an impact from the bench - There is interest in Traore. Is seen as a squad option, someone to come off the bench and make an impact. Will be signed as an impact player - Kane could well stay at Spurs because Levy can't afford anymore bad PR this summer...unless the new manager comes in and prefers to use the big money to reinvest in the squad - Interest in Lukaku not dead in the water. Suggests Inter may still sell him or if not, they could sell Martinez instead - There is interest in Rice and Rice is interested in us. Problem is West Ham and their supposed £100 million asking price. Something could happen if it drops to around £70 million (throw Abraham into the deal?). West Ham need money to invest in the squad. Rice likes West Ham (as well as us) but wants to win trophies - Club want to extend Christensen's contract and Christensen wants to extend as well - Talks on extending Rudiger's contract are parked at the moment. Both parties are relaxed - Azpi's contract situation will depend on what he wants from here onward since he's won everything at the club. Club won't stand in his way if he wants to leave or will extend his contract if he wants to stay - Tuchel keen to check on Loftus-Cheek in pre-season. He may go on loan to Sarri's Lazio. They get along well - Gallagher will likely be part of pre season but likely to be loaned out again - Marina has a tough job to sell and loan players out this summer - Club been looking for a defensive, holding midfielder with height for the midfield for 2 years or so. Rice, Tchouameni, Ndidi mentioned - Kepa unlikely to go on loan due to his wages, the loan fees etc. Could end up staying at the club - Club could well be looking for a backup keeper - Tuchel and club prioritizing quality over quantity. Tuchel apparently told people that he's okay with not getting anyone as opposed to getting the wrong players. Club prepared to play the waiting game if they have to
  6. Understandable he wants higher wages given he's currently one of the lowest earners, I believe? Not sure if Marina would agree to that 200k but if not, surely an agreement something a bit lower can be agreed upon.
  7. What clubs would you suggest? The tricky thing with loaning young players out is that if we go for the bigger clubs or clubs higher than Norwich for example, they might end up not using our player at all because they already have their established players there. Our player will then become just a backup for that club. I can't recall the names but there have been plenty of examples over the years.
  8. That certainly removes a potential replacement option for Dortmund this summer...
  9. So what if he started only 10-11 games the whole season? The point is he had a dodgy physical condition that needs to be managed carefully and he played a decent amount of minutes towards the end of the season. That friendly was played just 3 days after the final league game of the season. Not sure how much of a difference playing the players in that game made a difference considering it was still almost 2 weeks without a game going into the Europa League final.
  10. Guessing Gilmour has been loaned to Norwich because of the Farke-Tuchel connection since they worked together at Dortmund. Saw arguments saying that Gilmour should have been kept and go down the Foden route instead - e.g. train with better players daily and eventually work his way into the XI.
  11. Just bad luck? It was entirely preventable because (a) it was only a friendly game and (b) in RLC's case, he should not have played at all given his fitness and back issues. He wasn't exactly a 100% healthy, fully fit player etc like the others. Even though it was for a good cause, the club got criticized because they arranged a friendly ahead of a cup final. They risked players getting injured and unfortunately, one happened. Are you seriously comparing the two situations? USA or not, going to watch an NBA game without having to exert oneself physically (e.g. playing the game) is completely different to actually playing a game!
  12. The point isn't so much about not playing RLC on artificial pitches but more so about managing his game time, given his dodgy fitness and back condition back then. He had played lots of minutes leading up to that friendly. So god knows why Sarri felt the need to play him then when he could have given just the time to some other players instead.
  13. Plans may have to change if we can't sell him and/or can't buy a suitable player.
