Given Fjortoft's connection with the Haaland camp, you would think he would be the first to know if there's anything going on with the player. Based on what we've seen, Nuno is basically another Mourinho but just without the drama and "entertainment" factor. Maybe Nuno might do a decent job, maybe he might not. As alluded to above, WTH would we even agree to putting a release clause in the contract? If he and/or Raiola wants to have such clause just so he can bail on us at any moment, then it's probably better we look elsewhere. Also, all this talk of agreeing a deal with the player immediately seems daft if nothing is agreed with the club yet, especially if Dortmund stick with their stance of not selling Haaland this summer.

That data was from February 2020 - February 2021 only in PL and of course, it was the total agent fees of all the players we signed during that period. This obviously is just one player and if it's true that the club doesn't see the RWB as a priority position to improve on, then I guess they deemed Hakimi was not worth it to pay so much for.

Matt Law did suggest that if the club are really gonna push the boat out on agent fees, wages etc, it'll be for Haaland. Feels like this could end up being a classic case of the manager and club don't see eye-to-eye on a particular signing.
