  1. It's not just that though, is it? How about picking a side with a setup that actually maximizes the players' abilities? We've been seeing the same shit football for 6-7 months and we've come to the point where it's more than just the players' motivation level.
  2. You could say it was the players' fault then but it was also Conte's fault, no? I mean, we were sitting nicely in the top 4 last January but then Conte embarked on his negative-fest and dragged everyone down with him.
  3. I really don't understand why there seem to be a cult following of this Sarriball. Why are people so obsessed with playing tiki-taka football? Is it so hard to just ask for a manager who plays good, decent football without any sort of this nonsense intricate football and is flexible as well as adaptable? Once again, Sarri offered lame rhetoric in his press conference and interview. Just kept mentioning the obvious without offering any sort of reassurances that he will get things right. Kept talking about the poor mentality, not doing things right on the pitch bla bla bla but we keep seeing the same shit week in week out without any sign that he is actually trying to change things. He's just fucking clueless and a one trick pony! And before anyone come throw the average squad factor, I agree that our squad is not the best but it's not the worst either. People keep on making it like it's Cardiff/Fulham's level but it's not. Sarri has his own football style and that's fine but why is he trying to impose it on a group of players, who clearly aren't suited to it? Why isn't he adapting to what he's got for the time being and making sure we get the results to achieve our objectives? There are more ways than one to play good attacking football and yet, Sarri only seems to know one way of doing things. Keeps on playing the same formation, same under-performing players etc. Said it before, his stubbornness will cost us this season and it is and if this shit keeps on happening, he'll be gone sooner rather than later.
  4. Or maybe, we just so happen to have a clueless manager who is a one trick pony! Our squad might not be WOW but it's still a decent side and should be good enough to at least be sitting comfortably in the top 4. Judging by some of the comments, you would have think we have a squad worse than Cardiff or even Fulham!
  5. A manager saying he's not able to motivate these players... Why is he even still in the job?!
  6. Okay, it might be tough to sign Icardi but maybe not Werner, who has only 1 1/2 year left on his contract.
  7. Seriously, are people gonna post 'we should have signed Piatek' every time he scores? It's perfectly understandable why the club didn't go for Piatek. As well as Piatek has done this season, it's still his first in Europe's top 5 leagues. For all we know, he could be a one season wonder. Remember Belotti? He scored 26 league goals in 2016/17 but then fell away with just 10 goals in 2017/18 and now just 7 in 2018/19. After seeing the likes of Morata, Batshuayi failed in recent seasons, we absolutely couldn't fail with the striker position and it's understandable why we went for Higuain instead, even if it's at best a short term solution. If Piatek does end up doing well at Milan, then fair play to him and if we want to get him then, it's more than possible given Milan's situation with Financial Fair Play. If not, there are still options elsewhere with Icardi or Werner.
  8. It's Daily Shit. They used the incident from the Arsenal game, which Sarri has brushed aside. If Sarri's really pissed at him, he wouldn't have played Christensen at the weekend, would he?
  9. I really don't get Sarri's decision to stick with Cahill as captain if he's just going to freeze him out of the team completely.
  10. Not rotating even when things were going well was exactly what landed us on the problems we faced last month - fatigue, injuries etc. And you missed out on the fact that when Sarri had a chance to rest the others and play CHO earlier on in the season, he chose to play Loftus-Cheek out wide instead. Are you telling me that CHO isn't good enough to have at least played more in the Europa League? CHO was basically the 5th choice in the winger position but has suddenly become 1st/2nd choice after Hazard in the space of a month. If you took note of Sarri's comments, he basically said CHO wasn't ready at the end of November but exactly a month later at the end of December, when Bayern made their interest known and submitted bids, Sarri suddenly said he's ready and considers CHO on the same level as Pedro and Willian. Clearly Bayern's strong interest made the club panic and pretty much forced Sarri to change his tune.
  11. + When we played a Championship side in Derby County in the League Cup earlier this season, CHO was left unused on the bench.
  12. Well, they dodged those kind of teams last season but got knocked out by Wigan anyway.
  13. I was just gonna reply you on Twitter...! Maybe but there's no way to be sure of that. I mean, Sarri went from 'he's not ready, he needs to improve' to 'he's ready, he's on the same level as Pedro/Willian' in like a month.
  14. Man United at home in the FA Cup 5th Round...
