Think the bigger issue is that we do not have proper structure at board level rather than Roman not wanting to sell the club. If we have a structure at the club, a proper way of running things (e.g. Man City, Liverpool), we wouldn't be having all the issues that we have now and Roman could go for a holiday at The Bahamas 24/7 for all we care.

Does it really matter whether Pulisic mentioned Hazard or not? Everyone should know by now that Hazard is likely to leave for Madrid anyway. Why even bother mentioning someone who sees his future elsewhere?

Fans may have good reasons to fear Lampard might be our Ole if he's hired right now but even in his short managerial career so far, Lampard seems to already have more about him and his coaching/management skills than Solskjaer whose rhetoric and seemingly only source of motivation is to hark back to the good old days of Fergie. Moreover, you get the feel that Lampard would instantly get the respect of the players here, especially the younger ones, and that he can motivate/bond with the players and fans, if those Derby celebration videos are anything to go by.

This Sarri getting the sack rumors would have been more believable if the Guardian or Telegraph/Matt Law are reporting it as well but they aren't...

Getting paid a lot is one thing but is it really worth it when you're getting disrespected by everyone around every week? Does he not have some dignity? Is he genuinely happy by wasting his years as a footballer just like that? The difference between Bale and the likes of Cahill, Drinkwater is that they don't get disrespected by people around on a weekly basis. And for everyone player like that, there's always those who prefer to leave for playing time rather than staying for the money. IIRC, didn't Fabregas, for example, get paid 150k p/w here but chose to leave anyway because he wanted to play regularly?

PSG wanting Kante is one thing. We selling him or Kante wanting the move is another. If they want him, they're gonna have to fork out A LOT of money for him! But not concerned about this rumor at all. And besides, PSG have come and said Mbappe will stay with them for next season.

PSG reportedly wanted him last summer as well but we didn't even bother entertaining their interest and Kante didn't kick up any fuss and happily signed a new contract. Don't see that changing this time around either. This Kante to PSG rumors are as annoying as the Hulk to Chelsea rumors all those years ago!

His priorities are clearly messed up (if reports are correct). And he doesn't seem to have dignity/self-respect.

Bale hasn't helped himself with his inconsistent performances but I find it bizarre that he intends to stay at Real Madrid despite having been treated like crap by the media, fans and his own manager on a weekly basis.

Those injuries you mentioned were pretty long ago though and some of them were just unfortunate. Same can’t exactly be said about now.

He might well be but until then, we have a midfield hole to fill...what are we gonna do? Buy someone? Use someone from academy to fill in till then?

Because Sarri and his staff are the ones who manage the players? You can argue that CHO’s and RLC’s injuries were down to bad luck but there’s no bad luck with Kante’s hamstring injury (Sarri admitted that he shouldn’t have played him when he got the injury) and Rudiger’s knee injury, when he was seemingly rushed back early. Furthermore, we very rarely get these many serious injuries to our players before this season but now, we have 4 important players out injured.

Out fot 4-6 months then. Well done, Chelsea!
