  1. 3 wins are still more than 1. We showed that we can compete with them in the Super Cup but we are so inconsistent - understandable given the circumstances - and it's hard to even predict or get a sense of what to expect, especially in games like this. I REALLY HATE UNCERTAINTIES!
  2. Feeling confused over this fixture. On one hand, I'm expecting us to lose (we've only beaten Klopp's Liverpool once in the league) and probably lose heavily as well but on the other hand, I have a feeling we might sneak a result but not sure what to expect. 😵
  3. Guess Emerson is fit for the match?
  4. It'll be interesting to see what Lampard does when Mount has a dip in form.
  5. In Courtois' case, F him! After the way he behaved and got his move to Madrid last year, he deserves every single shit that happens to him. He is not as good as he thinks he is! With Hazard, I don't blame him for wanting to fulfill his dream of joining Madrid but it's hard to not feel the delicious irony when he and Madrid are struggling.
  6. It remains to be seen if Loftus-Cheek can actually stay fit and play consecutive games. He has his back issues and isn't the most fit of players in terms of stamina and energy.
  7. TBF, Klopp isn't the kind of manager - like Mourinho for example - who can't help but throw in digs here and there when talking about others. He's always been decent and fair. And just because he was being complimentary, doesn't it mean he doesn't see us as a rival. Not all rivals hate each other, they can still be respectful to one another. Moreover, if there's a manager who understands our situation more than most, it is Klopp. He built a young team at Dortmund all those years ago after all and had to deal with all the questions, criticism, inconsistencies etc, which he alluded to in his presser.
  8. Think Hazard's time with the club is done. He decided to leave for a different challenge and we are moving in a different direction, looking to build something exciting for the long term. He's also not far away from turning 30 and god knows what kind of shape he will be in and how motivated he will be when he goes into his 30s. He certainly won't be a starter coming back here.
  9. So all that trusting the young players talk only applies to Mount, Abraham and Tomori then?
  10. Using the experience factor in one scenario and then turn a blind eye on it in another sounds very contradicting.
  11. If Lampard was covering for Pulisic, at least use the "it's a tactical decision" excuse or something along those lines. By saying it's a case of experience, he practically contradicted himself when he says he trusts the young players and then has people raising their eyebrow when they see Mount, Abraham and Tomori all started despite having no CL experience.
  12. Has played 22 CL games or around there, which is more than Mount, Abraham and Tomori combined.
  13. I guess whatever happens, Lampard has "done well" in securing the long term future of our young players. Loftus-Cheek, Mount, CHO have all signed new contracts. James, Tomori and Abraham to follow suit. Now it's up to them to justify the hype and faith.
  14. It's not just the playing time with CHO under Sarri really. It's also his man management. I mean just look at these comments when CHO was racially abused and when he made his England debut. Almost night and day when you compare with Lampard's comments on Abraham when he got racially abused and when Mount made his England debut.
