Talking about that Valencia game, it comes 4 days after we go to Man City in the league...

Inter led 2-0 at HT against Dortmund. Ended up losing 3-2. And then, Conte moaned about the club's board...again.

Lille are gonna need a miracle that's arguably bigger than our CL win in 2012. They need to beat Ajax and us (4 goals or more against the former + 3-2, 4-3 etc or more than one goal against us) and hope Valencia beat Ajax or us.

He looked ridiculously flat footed for Ajax's 3rd and probably the 2nd too. It's kinda maddening how he's not more commanding in the box.

Started on the LW, then moved to the No.10/second ST role and finished as a CM. Another good performance from him overall.

Avoiding defeat at Valencia is absolutely vital! If we lose there, then we must beat Lille and hope Ajax lose to Valencia (assuming Ajax beat Lille next).

I guess the margin of the win would play a part. Not sure if number of goals or margin matter more. Assuming we beat Valencia and lose to Lille + Ajax beat Lille and lose to Valencia, that would mean we, Ajax and Valencia have 10 points each at the end of the group stage. If that's the case, then it would come down to the points won in the H2H between the 3 said teams. So taking those scenarios into equation: Ajax - 4 points (beat Valencia, drew with Chelsea, lost to Valencia & Chelsea) Chelsea - 7 points (beat Ajax & Valencia, drew with Ajax, lost to Valencia) Valencia - 6 points (beat Chelsea & Ajax, lost to Chelsea & Ajax) We would end up finishing top, Valencia in 2nd and Ajax in 3rd.

If we win at Valencia, I believe it will guarantee our progress.

Would have taken a draw at 4-1 down but with Ajax going down to 9 men(!), it's a bloody disappointment we didn't get the win! Do-or-die game at Valencia on Matchweek 5 now.
