  1. No but in the Premier League's case, there has certainly been a sense that they are trying to rush things back. Plus for argument sake, IF more players refuse to risk their lives and others and don't want to play, then what?
  2. But it doesn't guarantee that one won't get it. You should know by now that the symptoms may not even show up until after a few days, if you unknowingly contracted it. And that's just the players. Still gotta consider those they put at risk - their children, wife, parents etc - and it's worse if they have some sort of health issue(s). As I said above, the world will never be safe from the virus until a vaccine is found. The fear, paranoia are always gonna be there.
  3. Maybe but you also come in contact with others during a match or training and you never know where the other person may have gone to or who the other person may have come in contact with during the off hours. Regardless of what we do these days, the world will never be safe until a vaccine is found. There will always be that fear, paranoia floating around.
  4. The world, or some parts of the world, may be reopening but whether it is safe to do so with sports is debatable. A lot of it is "forced" by the money involved...

  7. It's ironic that people praise Marina when she is able to sell a player beyond their value and at the same time, criticize her (or say that she doesn't have football knowledge) when she buys some duds.
  8. True but on the other hand, some clubs could be at a disadvantage if players don't agree on a contract extension, even on a short term, and just leave on a free and/or if players refuse to risk their lives by returning to train/play (e.g. Kante).
  9. We should really take the gamble...

  12. Maybe, maybe not. With so much uncertainty right now, players may have been forced to reconsider their plans. For Caballero, signing an extension means at least he'll have the security of wages, still being involved in football etc while for the club, at least we have a backup secured for another season. If there is an opportunity to buy a new GK, maybe we would sell Caballero and buy a new GK. Otherwise, we would just stick with him for now.
