  1. For starters, Leicester's energy level and pressing are night and day to what we did at the weekend.
  2. A draw here would do just fine too but Sheffield United are looking desperately poor...
  3. So, all that downplaying of Leicester...
  4. And yet, we know Lampard values the workrate of Mount and Willian. As for Barkley, the less said the better but only recently, Lampard called him the 'complete player'!
  5. Pulisic on the LW. Werner as the ST. Ziyech on the RW. Where does this leave Havertz? Keep getting told he's not that good as the No.10...
  6. Also, the one funny thing in all of this talk about the RW is that what happens if Willian stays on? Lampard loves him, is he going to keep on playing him week in week out? If so, then what about Ziyech or even Havertz?
  7. You sure Havertz won't want a lot of money? If Havertz plays on the RW, what about CHO then? There's also Ziyech for that position. If Havertz play as the CF, then what about Werner or even your boy Abraham? Based on current form, Pulisic can't be dropped from the LW, which means Werner will play upfront. And Havertz wasn't great in the first half of the season. But that shouldn't deter people away, should it?
  8. Sancho can play LW/RW/AM. And you said as if we are going to sign Said Benrahma when it's nothing more than just rumors right now and there's no guarantee Brentford will sell him cheaply especially if they get promoted to the Premier League.
  9. Is it really fitting square pegs in round holes when Ziyech can play in the middle?
  10. Buy Sancho for the RW and move Ziyech to the middle.
  11. 100 million euros for someone who is not that consistent yet, however talented he is, is kinda crazy. Better off adding another 20 million and sign Sancho instead.
  12. So Liverpool, supposedly the greatest Premier League champions ever, won't be setting any new records this season...
  13. Not going to disagree but the larger point here should be about whether these players take responsibility for the performances they put out there, leader or not. We have players who we know what we are going to get from them, players who will give at least a 7 or 8 out of 10 every week and then there are players who give a 9/10 one week and then 3/10 the following week. Azpi might not be a leader like JT, but if others can show the same attitude and produce the same kind of consistency like he does at the very least, we wouldn't be yo-yo-ing so much with our performances/results.
  14. Nothing wrong with the article or the need for more communication point mentioned by Lampard but the ironic thing is Lampard wasn't exactly the most vocal of players during his playing days. He was someone who led more by example, let his actions do the talking, than anything else. It was someone like Terry who was the most vocal one.
  15. I agree but I assumed in real time, Doherty was trying to protect himself from the overhead kick/high boot. The movement/position of the hand was not in the natural position but surely some common sense was/is needed with the PK rules?
  16. They did, thanks to a bloody fortunate Alonso goal!
  17. Someone needs to end that before they catch up with our record!
  18. So, Liverpool have lost and they can no longer get the PL points record...
