Plenty of our defensive combinations have had games this season where they kept the opposition out completely and then looked like clowns in other games. So until we see some actual consistency, I wouldn't praise them just yet, especially when it was only against Norwich today.

It's a hypothetical question. Of course we want to win all the games but what is our top priority right now? The team already starting to look gassed out.

True but the one issue is we have Liverpool 3 days after the semi-final and depending on the results over the next 2 days, we may need a result at Anfield. Does this team still have enough left in the tank to play 3 very tough games in 7 days against United, Liverpool and Wolves?

Can't believe am having to ask this question but which would qualify as a success this season? Finish in Top 4 but fail to win the FA Cup OR Win the FA Cup but fail to finish in the Top 4 I know people will say "why not both?" but just between those two choices, which would you consider?

I know we have been shit defensively of late but it's Norwich. Let's see how we do if he plays the same duo in the last 3 games.

Getting the 3 points is all that matters at this point of the season but good god, we were lucky that it was Norwich. Would have lost if it was any half decent side. The performance certainly doesn't fill one with confidence at all for the remaining games.

But what about the tempo, the speed of play? We're playing the bottom side and an already relegated side but can't get going at all.

The more I watch us, the more I feel like Lampard has lost the plot a bit. Yeah, Jorginho is not great but things look with good when we played him with Kovacic, Mount earlier this season. There was fluidity, mobility, good tempo to our game. Now everything is just slow and just cross, cross and cross into the box. Can't wait to see the "joy" on Werner's face when he keeps on getting these high crosses into the box next season!

What are your thoughts about how we play of late? You said we were reverting to the pragmatic ways with Kante as the lone DM but things are still bad and pragmatic even with Jorginho back in that role.

This is getting as tragic as Sarriball. We've lost the plot.

There was a clear idea of how we want to play earlier in the season or pre-pandemic, even with the defensive problems. Now? It's just stupid endless backward and sideways passes and oh, dumb crosses into the box. Our pressing has also been all over the place with players pressing half-heartedly.

Does anyone have any idea how/what Lampard wants this team to play anymore?

Our midfield is a such conundrum. There's always something wrong in every game!
