  1. You said RB Leipzig and Atletico have been boring but the opposite for Lyon? They have done well to get to the semis but what's exciting about basically just sitting back and playing on the counter attack? Atalanta were decent in the first half against PSG but did zilch in the second and had PSG had their shooting boots on, they would have won that at a canter instead of just 2-1. What I would say is that when you are this far in the competition, it's all about winning. If you can win it with style, then great. If not whatever.
  2. What was Tuchel going on about with that Leipzig player at the end? EDIT: It appears to be one of Leipzig's coach, not a player.
  3. But if Bayern get their pressing game spot on, they could also do a job. Plus, it's not like PSG have great defenders and they have a 36-year-old in defence.
  4. PSG's attacking players will give them a chance but can their defence and midfield - apart from Verratti - keep out Bayern? PSG haven't really been tested defensively too much by Atalanta and RB Leipzig so far.
  5. I know big transfers can take ages to happen but am really curious to know how clubs exactly discuss the transfer and why does it take so long. I mean, they aren't exactly talking about world-worthy issues.
  6. Bet Nagelsmann is wishing he still has Werner in the side...
  7. Who is Modrat? On hindsight, am okay that we missed out on Alves and Neymar. We got Ivanovic and then Hazard.
  8. If Leipzig somehow get to the final, especially from this position, and win the whole damn thing, Werner might regret his decision to leave them in June and join us early. But he seems okay with it judging by recent IG Stories...
  9. Committing fouls doesn't necessarily making the game boring. Can't remember against Atletico (don't recall the game being boring either) but Leipzig have had to commit fouls tonight because they are struggling to contain PSG. And heck, would be nice if our team could commit fouls and show that they are not a bunch of softies!
  10. PSG been very very good. Surprisingly.
  11. Signing a long term contract at a club obviously means "surrendering" their future to the club but one should never do so when Daniel Levy is the one in charge.
  12. Below is what is reported in Bild, via Sports Witness... http://sportwitness.co.uk/chelsea-will-try-reach-agreement-club-players-signing-10-days-blues-pole-position/
  13. As I said before, the meltdown if this move doesn't happen is gonna be funny.
  14. August 28, the start of Leverkusen's pre-season...
  15. Loan deal to Lorient confirmed. Also extended his Chelsea contract to 2023.
  16. But the transfer window only closes in October. Ideally, everyone would want to get their transfer business done fast and early (GET MOVING MARINA, FFS!) but players moving clubs while the league has started and the transfer window is not closed is nothing new. We have seen such cases in the past. If Leverkusen don't sell him this summer, then good luck to them because they risk keeping an unhappy player and potentially, getting less money next year.
  17. Maybe Marina has been on holiday, just like the first team squad. Things might pick up once she's back this week.
  18. Hope the players and coaching staff have not done anything silly during their holiday that may expose them to the virus. There's a positive case in the Liverpool ranks apparently... https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/breaking-liverpool-confirm-positive-coronavirus-22539430?2=
  19. But it also depends on whether Marina sets reasonable price to tempt buyers.
  20. Could care less about what other clubs do...
