Bosingwa was only finally dropped by AVB after the defensive debacle against Arsenal. It sure took long enough for AVB to realize his deficiencies when it comes to defending!

From what I know, he is a beast of a player in FM. Right footed(IIRC), very pacey & skillful too.

RDM's not to be blamed for our failure of not getting 4th spot via the league. Damage has already been done earlier under AVB. Even IF we do not get into the Champions League next season, it's not the end of the world in terms of who we can attract. We just need to play it smart in the transfer window and convince whoever we're gonna buy that we'll be challenging at the very top again & will be getting back into the CL and not fall away like Liverpool are right now.

Our record this season against the big teams or the Top 6 teams if you like have been poor. Taken just 10 points from a possible 30 - P10 W2 D4 L4.

No doubt we all want to see the younger lads getting game time but RDM must find the right balance and still put out a strong team in the remaining two league games. Need to make sure we get positive results so that we'll have a good momentum going into the CL final and also keep the players that are gonna start in that final match fit when it comes around.

You forgot to mention one crucial thing Bosingwa has over Ferreira - pace. That would be to deal with Ribery in the CL final.

As much as I am annoyed with the defeat and more so the performance, I don't think we were anyway outclassed by Newcastle. We just never tested them enough. They defended well as a unit and clinically took their chances when it came.

Unfortunately, all of those are useless if he can't make the right decision of what to do in situations during the game. And what pace? What trickery? He has none of those when he all does now is cut inside and shoot! He is so single-minded that every time an opportunity comes around, he will shoot at first sight & most of it are from ridiculous angles!
