  1. Not that I'm putting any high hopes here but to get into 4th, we need both Spurs & Newcastle to drop points in any form(DRAW/LOSE) in the last game. To finish in 3rd(!), again need both Spurs & Newcastle to DRAW/LOSE & Arsenal to suffer a defeat at the Hawthorns. That is of course only possible if we beat Liverpool and Blackburn. On those 3 games you mentioned, it won't be easy for either one of them. One would think Tottenham would easily beat Fulham at the Lane and especially with their poor away record but let's not forget this is a London derby and Fulham have the best record in it this season(W3 D3 L1). Regarding Newcastle going to Everton, I'm surprised you said they should win there. I mean, no teams will find it easy to play Everton at Goodison and particularly with the Toffees in good form right now and would want to finish above Liverpool. Newcastle may well drop points there. Arsenal going up against West Brom away is a potential banana skin for them. You never know which Arsenal are gonna turn up these days as defensively, they were extremely hopeless against Norwich. Also, they have not won any of their last 4 games AND have failed to win a single PL match this season when Arteta has not played. On West Brom, it's Woy last home game at the Hawthorns and his players would want to end on a high note for him. So, not easy by any means for Arsenal. However, as said earlier, not getting my hopes too high. It all depends on tonight.
  2. Possibly but unless he gets to the byline a lot on that LW, he's pretty much useless playing there. It's a shame with Sturridge really. IF he can get his attitude and mentality right, he would be starting most games under RDM.
  3. That's the problem! People are getting so emotionally caught with Drogba till the point they are afraid to move on from the present and look forward to a brand new future! No question that Drogba has contributed a lot to the club since he joined 7-8 years and we all deeply appreciate that but do we really need another Drogba for the next 6-7 years?! Why can't we just have another quality striker and let him be his own man?! IF we are to move forward and challenge at the very top again, we need to let him go. We need younger and hungrier players that will turn up week in week out in games against Wigan, Fulham, Villa etc and not just cup semis and finals. No disrespect to Drogba of course but that is the case with him right now. It would be better off for both parties that he leaves on a high and not stay further with the possibility of leaving his legacy tainted next season.
  4. Sounds like you're certain Ferreira will start in the CL Final.
  5. Only because of the hair looking similar to Puyol's...
  6. Adios to Blackburn. Been poor all season really and this game summed it up. All down to between QPR & Bolton now. From a neutral perspective, it's a shame that only 2 teams are fighting to avoid relegation on the last day.
  7. Moutinho for 20-30m may not necessarily be a bad thing either although anything higher than 25m would leave a sour taste in the mouth. Kinda self contradicting here a bit.
  8. Problem is others won't come cheap either especially if we are to look for the quality ones.
  9. Unrealistic. Porto will want somewhere between 20-30m for him.
  10. So, he was at the Etihad...
  11. Nonetheless, it means that Romeu is likely to start, which is good.
  12. No choice I guess with Old Trafford also being used for the Olympics AND not to mention, Villa Park is our bogey ground!!
  13. Apparently it's just knocks that they have picked up.
  14. Wouldn't mind him as long as he doesn't cost us a fortune!
  15. Alonso informing Mourinho about the cup final score prior to Madrid's game at Granada on Saturday. He look unimpressed there!
  16. How smart of Cahill to jump out of a sinking ship and leaves his mates helpless in mid-season.
  17. 6 London clubs in the Premier League next season... Imagine that!
  18. Is that a bandage wrapped below his knee??
  19. Indeed. Not quite pleased at the thought of Mata playing in this one.
  20. Typical childish thoughts as always from them.
  21. He was good under Scolari but even after the injuries he has had, there is still no excuses for his pathetic defending every time!
  22. I wouldn't be so sure about that. We only bought Bosingwa because he impressed at Euros 2008 and look what has happened since then!
