  1. Not disagreeing with that but it's because of our dire performance that they could have easily scored more. Don't forget that they missed a penalty too and a couple of other chances.
  2. While it was a poor performance last night, think we should be thankful that we only conceded 4 goals. They could have easily scored 5, 6, 7 goals and that would have been an embarrassing defeat.
  3. He is apparently. Was stated in his FM profile too.
  4. Never mind, I'll just leave it at that. Can't be bothered to say the same thing again. Have made my point clear about Drogba and the striker situation for next season. Will have to agree to disagree here.
  5. We have been linked with so many strikers in recent times. It could easily be one of Cavani, Falcao, Higuain or even someone that might appear in the last minute. Who knows! And of course there is no turning back once we let Drogba go. It's gonna happen sooner or later. So get over it! Getting a striker may not necessarily be the top of our priorities this summer BUT it should still be an important priority in the transfer window.
  6. Shelvey went in two-footed on someone(can't remember) in the game as well and worst of all, he made so many dangerous looking fouls and wasn't even booked!!
  7. As much as we all want Hutchinson to start, have you actually thought that the reason he isn't starting or playing is because he hasn't recovered fully from his injury problems?!
  8. The damage to our Top 4 hopes have already been done long before RDM took over, not just those games we failed to win under him.
  9. We can all sit down here and think of raiding City for their fringe(but quality) players but the fact is, they are not going to sell them to us. IF City wanna let them go, they would prefer to sell them abroad or to one of the lesser clubs in England and not to a side who they know that can challenge them for supremacy in all competitions.
  10. A creative midfielder is definitely needed but so is a striker. IF we go with Torres, Sturridge and Drogba as our strikers with Torres being the main one next season, what are we gonna do should he gets injured or suspended?! We will then stuck with Sturridge who blows hot and cold and a 35 y/o Drogba who can no longer bring his A-game week in week out.
  11. That's because Roman is unlikely to sell Torres after spending 50m on him! Unfortunately, we don't have any strikers within our ranks to step up but we can sure damn get a new striker and do a job for us week in week out. CURRENTLY, Drogba IS the best man to lead the line but with the changes that is going to be made, he won't be the man anymore next season.
  12. So, you would trust and expect a 35 year old to lead the line & turn up in every game when you play him?! Don't think I need to go and repeat myself here if people can't get over Drogba. A major squad overhaul is definitely gonna happen in the summer and like it or not, the striking department is included in that.
  13. YOU BETTER FINISH ABOVE THEM!!
  14. After tonight's performance, am suddenly thinking we should be playing our strongest lineup possible on Sunday & no youngsters in it. Have to beat Blackburn & win it convincingly. Can't go to Munich on the back of poor results. Need to get some momentum back going.
  15. Has his rib injury caught up with him? He has not gotten a rest since Luiz & Cahill got injured and have looked shaky in recent games too.
  16. Thought some of the criticisms on him before was unfair because he has hardly played and have usually looked decent when being played but today, he was just utterly rubbish. His goal kicks were horrendous and gotta praise his assist though. Spotted and picked out Shelvey very well for the goal. Have to applaud him for that.
  17. My perception on him had completely changed from 'good' to 'bad' after 1 game!
  18. Worst part here is we made Carroll looked like a world beater in the last 2 matches.
  19. Had his worst game in ages! Don't think I've ever seen him played this badly at all.
  20. Well, glad that is over. Wasn't expecting much but goodness me, the performance was absolutely dire. All 4 goals were handed to them on a plate! In the end, we lost the game. Liverpool didn't win it. But, we'll let them enjoy their "cup final" win. And oh, Liverpool have scored the lowest amount of goals at Anfield(24) in English Top Division for 1st time since 1903/04 season(24). History.
  21. Wasn't expecting too much from the game but to give them 3 free goals and play like that?! F**KING UNBELIEVABLE!!!
  22. No guarantees the club will continue the same way especially with the FFP rules coming in. The club WILL have to be smarter with the transfer dealings. We probably won't go playing the same way forever. One of our future managers would surely tinker and change our playing style a bit at the very least. And sooner or later, our midfield problems will have to be fixed. Can't go on like now forever! Also, as said, we won't get or see another Drogba in the future but whoever comes in could still contribute massively in his own way like Drogba has and create his legendary status at the club. Need to move on!
  23. IF Liverpool fail to score 4 goals or more tonight(now 20), it will be their lowest ever goalscoring tally at Anfield since 1903(24) - 109 years ago! History.
  24. Chelsea starting XI against Liverpool: Turnbull; Ferreira, Ivanovic, Terry, Bertrand; Essien, Romeu; Ramires, Sturridge, Malouda; Torres. Chelsea subs for Liverpool: Hilario, Cole, Lampard, Mata, Lukaku, Kalou, Hutchinson. Liverpool XI v Chelsea: Reina; Johnson, Skrtel, Carragher, Agger; Maxi, Henderson, Shelvey, Downing; Suarez, Carroll Liverpool subs for Chelsea: Doni, Coates, Kelly, Spearing, Sterling, Bellamy, Kuyt
  25. All depends on RDM's intention tonight.
