  1. Today, we saw the 'real' Fernando Torres returned. His first touch is as bad as a baby giraffe. A cat can dribble on the ball better than him. Even a snail can finish better than him!
  2. Apparently not. Not sure how getting a red card in a FIFA tournament game and the player ended up have to serve the suspension in a domestic game!
  3. He was very impressive today defensively without the ball. Have never seen him worked so hard and tracked back the way he did today. He has improved a lot in that aspect in recent times. Hope he continues with this and at the same time, tear up the opposition's defence!
  4. As if. Not gonna believe that old one prick one bit.
  5. Community Shield. UEFA Super Cup. FIFA Club World Cup. All thrown down the drain without any sort of fight and desire. Embarrassing.
  6. This is not good! http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/dec/15/chelsea-leeds-preparation-delayed-flight?CMP=twt_gu
  7. Dear oh dear Mata. What on earth was that?!
  8. Have merged the two Falcao threads together.
  9. Yes, he has. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11671/8335445/Everton-midfielder-Marouane-Fellaini-apologises-for-Ryan-Shawcross-clash
  10. I'm sorry but Liverpool 3-0 down at home to Villa is just funny. Liverpool are now 14 points behind second place Man City. Mind the gap Rodgers...
  11. Seems that 'Liverpool FC' is a 'Delusional Asylum'. Anyone who joins them will end talking up rubbish and becomes deluded.
  12. Indeed especially against Leeds next Wednesday. With Mikel, Ramires and Romeu all out, our double pivot will likely be to Luiz and Lampard.
  13. Judging by what he said in the previous page, I don't think that is the case. Think Lampard knows that he can't be a regular starter in the team anymore. The only stumbling block here is probably agreement over the wages.
  14. For starters, I can think Hazard and some of the others should try shooting at goal themselves when the opportunity is there rather than trying to walk the ball into the net every time.
  15. This can't be true! It would be extremely silly for the club to let Lampard go at the end of the season when this team is still young and needs experienced players like Lampard around. Even if he doesn't play on the pitch, his experience and influence can help the other players off the pitch. Why can't the club keep him like what Man United had done with Giggs and Scholes?!!
  16. The change did nothing whatsoever in us conceding the goal. We already looked like conceding even before the supposed defensive change was made but got away with it several times and that was because we had already switched off completely after going 3-0 up and just looking to conserve our energy with games coming thick and fast. Really? Cuneyt Cakir again? Well, I hope he brings better luck this time around.

  20. Easy win. Started brightly in both halves, got the goals and then just completely switched off after that. Understandable here given the game has been killed off and with the games coming thick and fast. The one thing I have noticed though is that we seem to be starting games on the front foot under Benitez, put the opposition under pressure, creating the chances and get the goal. Once we have done that, we take our foot off the pedal and starts to sit back resulting in letting the opposition back into the game. Slightly worrying it has to be said.
  21. Wrong! He did not score in his League Cup debut last season. Came on as a sub against Liverpool but failed to make any impact as we lost 2-0.
  22. Seems like none of the links from the 'Archives', 'Squad', 'Stats' section above can be accessed.
  23. Cheers Jim. Your work is very much appreciated!
  24. Bradford, Villa and Swansea have made it into the semi finals. We must win next Wednesday! The only concern is that the players might be a bit tired. We have a game on Sunday to play and then have to travel from Japan all the way back to England and play a game just 3 days later. Gonna be exhausting with all the hours of going back and experiencing the change of time zone again. Not lots of options to rotate too.
