That's the thing I don't get. Can possibly understand why Mata was rested given he has played the last 8-9 games without being rested. But Hazard?! He was already rested against Leeds and Norwich FHS! The problem was of course then compounded by the fact that Benitez brought on Mata with just 15 minutes left when he should have done so way earlier!

If we want to get a CM in the pivot, then I suggest we should look at Cabaye. An underrated quality player.

Hard to tell really. And maybe, the referee just want to make amends for not sending off Marin earlier.

Watched it again. He didn't look offside. Was in line with the QPR defenders, at least from the high angle that I saw. The league title may be out of reach but our place in the Top 4 is by no means safe and it's not a foregone conclusion that we'll finish in there.

I don't think he was helped when the rest around him were playing poorly. Having said that, I wasn't just talking about yesterday's game alone. It's his performance over the number of games he has played in this season.

The problem with that is because Oscar was either dropping deep or playing too high up that he wasn't playing as the link man as he's supposed to. For most of the first half especially, we looked like playing a 4-4-2 and because there's no one connecting the midfield and attack, we got the situation where either Lampard or Luiz bombing forward and leaving spaces behind. What made even worse was the lack of movement upfront. None of the front 4 of Torres, Oscar, Moses and Marin were moving about enough to drag QPR around and disrupt their shape. All were so static that it was so easy for them to defend and difficult for us to find those gaps and space. And when you see Ivanovic stepping out from the back and having a shot from distance, TWICE, you know your team is having massive problems!

Don't think Moses is available. Yesterday was his last game for us before heading to the AFCON.

At the moment, I'm not exactly too impressed with Oscar. I like what he does off the ball in terms of closing down the opposition, man-marking an opponent etc but on the ball, have yet to really see him producing it for us especially in the Premier League. I know it's only his first season in England but would expect a little bit more from him.

Can someone please explain how on earth was Lampard offside when he scored the goal yesterday?! From the replays, he looked onside!

SO, we beat Arsenal and Tottenham(both away from home!) but then managed to draw against Fulham and losing to both West Ham and QPR?! Utterly embarrassing and pathetic! That's 5 points thrown away now against QPR! We're down to 4th now, 1 point behind Spurs and just 2 ahead of Everton in 5th and just 4 clear of Arsenal. With Stoke away and Arsenal at home next, we really needed the 3 points today but we completely bottled!! All that good work we done against Norwich and Everton away have basically been wasted!! As I said earlier, I can't understand Benitez's team seIection! Start with the strongest team. Win the game early and then bring them off, not the other way! Our next 2 games are cup games against Southampton & Swansea. Why not rest them then instead of tonight when we need the 3 points?! QPR have not won in their last 22 Premier League away matches - D5 L17 - and they somehow ended the run here!! Funny thing is, people were expecting us to thrash them 7/8/9-0 before the game and when that happens, we usually don't end up winning the game!

Don't care about the scoreline. Just get the 3 points!

As much as he has this slight issue with his knees, people are talking as if his knees are gonna crack at the slightest hit of something! The club would have taken his knee conditions into considerations when deciding on which striker(s) to get. If it's as bad as people seem to be making it out, we wouldn't even go for him!
