  1. Mood-less, annoyed and depressed.
  2. United will win the game regardless anyway.
  3. Yes but they have to report in early to prepare for the tournament.
  4. Moses is not available and so is Mikel. Both have gone to the AFCON.
  5. One minute they say he's leaving, the next they say he's going to be offered a new contract and now, back to saying he's leaving. This contract situation is just exasperating! FGS, can the club at least come out and say something like he's definitely leaving or we'll sit down with Lampard and evaluate the situation at a later date or something?! Right now, we're just having to speculate based on stories, some rubbish too, that are being published in the media!!
  6. Sorry but I just can't help but to .
  7. At this rate, we should just keep all the players that we buy and let them rot to death at the club when they aren't useful if people are gonna overreact everytime our ex-player scores! I was annoyed with the board letting him go but he has been sold. Time to just let it go and move on.
  8. That would be much more ideal. OR we could switch to 4-3-3 when Mata isn't playing. We have the players to play out wide and the right ST now to play on his own upfront in that formation in Ba.
  9. Fail logic. United have always played with 2 strikers and of course they would need 4! I don't think Isco would want to come here to be a rotation option with Mata. For someone his age now, he would want to play every week, not just 1 game here, 1 game there when Mata isn't playing. What are we gonna do with Isco when Mata is playing? And really, your point just emphasized what I said about getting Isco now is just a short term option. What about long term? Can't be having all these young players together at once.
  10. Actually, it would be ideal once in a while for somebody from the board to come out and speak something. Too often our board have just kept quiet in the midst of all these stories and letting tabloids and journalists writing BS stories.
  11. Short term wise, yes. We probably need someone like Isco. But what about long term? We still have the likes of De Bruyne, McEachran out on loan in the team. Also, we don't really know what Oscar's best position is yet. He could turn out to be a proper No.10/CAM rather than a CM in the pivot. And people want us to get Isco so that we can rotate him with Mata? What are we gonna do with Isco when Mata is still fresh enough to play? Mata will play most of the games, just need to be rested the odd games here and there. We gotta be careful not to over-stack ourselves with midfielders unnecessarily. Personally, I'm not sure if this transfer rumour really is legitimate. 2-3 weeks ago, we were linked with Pjanic, who can play as a CAM too, because of the Lampard's contract situation. Now, we have this link with Isco popping up as well in a similar situation with Lampard's contract situation again.
  12. Actually, it's P3 D1 L2. Don't forget that dire 0-0 draw against Fulham.
  13. With Swansea now having an FA Cup replay against Arsenal, it means, just like us, they'll have 5 games to contend with over the next 2 weeks including the 2 semi final games. Our next 5 games are - Swansea(H), Stoke(A), Southampton(H), Arsenal(H) and Swansea(A). Swansea's next 5 games are - Chelsea(A), Everton(A), Arsenal(A), Stoke(H) and Chelsea(H).
  14. Our London derby record under Benitez have been dire...
  15. Yes. Menas something that can cause an embarrassment.
  16. Another away game for us. Would have preferred a home draw but we should still win against Southend of Brentford. A potential banana skin tie though.
  17. The Sunday Supplement panel discuss the news that Chelsea have made the first moves towards awarding veteran midfielder Frank Lampard a new contract to stay at the club. http://www.skysports.com/video/inline/0,26691,12606_8383031,00.html
  18. We actually don't really have a week break till like end of February. 9th Jan - Swansea(H) 12th Jan - Stoke(A) 16th Jan - Southampton(H) 20th Jan - Arsenal(H) 23rd Jan - Swansea(A) 26/27th Jan - FA Cup 4th Round Tie 29th Jan - Reading(A) 2nd Feb - Newcastle(A) 5/6th Feb - International Friendlies(not many though it seems) 9th Feb - Wigan(H) 14th Feb - Sparta Prague(A) 16/17th Feb - FA Cup 5th Round Tie(if we get there) 21st Feb - Sparta Prague(H) 24th Feb - Man City(A) 2nd Mar - West Brom(H)
  19. According to Michael Laudrup on ESPN, he said Michu is having a slight back problem. That is why he's on the bench against Arsenal. Said he will be ready to come on in the 2nd half though.
  20. Michael Laudrup has rested quite a few of his first team players against Arsenal today. Here's the starting XI: Swansea team v Arsenal: Vorm, Tiendalli, Chico, Bartley, Davies, Britton, De Guzman, Ki, Routledge, Dyer, Graham Michu is on the bench.
  21. Funny. That's what most people said against QPR and look what happened. Lets not forget that Swansea went to the Emirates not too long ago where they outplayed Arsenal and won 2-0. And though they didn't create much in away games against Man City and Spurs, they only lost 1-0 in both games. Heck, they even won 3-1 against Liverpool at Anfield in the League Cup earlier this season. So, we cannot underestimate them one bit!
  22. Mikel and Moses won't be available for this. They have gone to the AFCON.
