One big difference IMO. Finishing in Top 3 guarantees CL qualification into the group stage. Finish in 4th and we have to go through a play-off round. Risk getting KOed early.

Not really. None of them really have a fixed position under RDM. All three rotated their positions throughout matches and the opponent couldn't handle them. And this also of course led to the problem defensively as there wasn't enough defensive work from whichever of those 2 at wide positions when the ball gets turned over.

For starters, he looks much livelier today than he was in recent games. The rest in midweek has done him some good.

And shoot at goal when the chance is there rather than trying to walk the ball into net almost everytime!

Currently sit in 3rd, 1pt ahead of Spurs & 5 clear of Arsenal. Not sure which result would suit us best. 1. If Spurs win, we drop to 4th & trail them by 2 points but sit 5 points clear of Arsenal. 2. If Arsenal win, then we remain in 3rd but only 1 point ahead of Spurs and 2 clear of Arsenal. 3. If it ends in a draw, then we sit in 3rd, level on points with Spurs but have better GD and Arsenal trail both of us by 4pts. It's probably worth pointing out that Spurs will face Liverpool next weekend at Anfield. And also, we are not playing next weekend in PL due to FA Cup involvement. No game for Arsenal too. Their opponent Everton have an FA Cup game.

LOL! No. Torres is failing and failing miserably because he's a crocked and washed up striker. Done. Finish. Past his best. As for Ba, the problem with him right now is that Benitez isn't using him in the right way. When we plays, the team more often than not just blindly lump the ball up to him and expect him to be Messi. Even when we do that, none of the players are close enough to get those knock downs won by him or available as a passing option because the team is so far behind due to the deep defending!

Here's a stat - Of the 11 Premier League defeats West Brom have suffered this season, 7 of them have been 1 goal defeats, 3 by 2 goals and just 1 by 3 goals. Should note that the 3-goal defeat came at Fulham(lost 3-0) after West Brom went down to 10 men. They were only 1-0 down when Odemwingie was sent off then.

Alan Pardew does talk crap sometimes, if not most of the time! Even if Benitez's title was the 'Manager' rather than 'Interim Manager', it still wouldn't stop fans from chanting against him. Furthermore, as many have pointed out, Hiddink and RDM didn't seem to have any problems with the 'Interim' title and both won trophies with us! Even Steve Clarke has said "a title is just a title". Benitez should be thankful that he got the job in the 1st place!
