  1. Erm, why has this thread been moved here??
  2. http://www.google.com/translate?hl=en&ie=UTF8&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bild.de%2Fsport%2Ffussball%2Fmario-goetze%2Fwas-macht-dortmund-mit-den-millionen-30130166.bild.html Now Bild is saying Dortmund won't sell Lewandowski this summer and would rather let him go on a free next summer, unless the top English clubs offer them 40m and they then might consider otherwise.
  3. http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/mario-goetze/was-macht-dortmund-mit-den-millionen-30130166.bild.html According to Bild, Eriksen is a potential replacement for Gotze at Dortmund.
  4. Hamburg's Son back on Dortmund radar
  5. Quite far I would say but that's because we're in the rebuilding process of trying to phase out the senior players and bringing new and upcoming players through the team. Bayern have done gradually and they are probably at their peak right now. With a couple additions to key areas in the squad, tweaking to the team and having a competent manager in charge, we would be challenging at the very top in Europe again.
  6. We definitely need to get back into the Champions League and be able to go through experiences and emotions again. :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf:

  8. You are talking about Heynckes or Pellegrini? Not too sure about Heynckes but would like to think he can speak English. As for Pellegrini, he can apparently speak English according tp Gabriele Marcotti.
  9. Gomez a target man? He's nothing more than a goal poacher. No doubt he gets you the goals but he doesn't offer anything like Drogba apart from scoring. His constant lack of touches (despite his goals) in games show that. Think we can do better by looking elsewhere first and get somebody like Drogba can hold/link up the play and all that and equally get you the goals as well.
  10. Nope. We should find more about this later today.

  12. John Terry hopes to open contract talks with Chelsea in the summer
  13. That meme fails...a bit. The sequence of results are: 4-0 win vs Nurnberg 6-1 win vs Hamburg 6-1 win vs Hannover 4-0 win vs Barcelona
  14. Chelsea star Kevin De Bruyne stalls on Bayer Leverkusen move as he waits on Borussia Dortmund
  15. We get a referee from Czech Republic - Pavel Kralovec - for this game. His last officiating in European competitions was Arsenal's 2-0 win over Bayern. English teams record with him in Europe - W3 D3.
  16. That's what Benitez will do because he wants 'troffees' over Top 4.......
  17. Think that's where the problem comes IMO. It's because we have become so desperate of wanting a ST that can score goals due to Torres's failure that people have let it blinded them into taking any STs that score goals. Do people really want a limited ST such as a goal poacher when an all rounder kind of ST can score you goals and do so much more than the former?
  18. Well, okay. Have been saying that for ages till the point I have sounded just like a broken record. Think we can do better in looking elsewhere first and spend that 25m a tad wiser.
  19. Maybe we are over-relying on Mata this season but in 2-3 seasons time, think we will see less of that with the likes of Hazard, Oscar etc all improving and becoming an integral player in the team where we can also really rely on. We would then have many players that can win games for us, and not just one.
  20. Yes, I don't deny that at all, never have. It's just that we should be looking more in a ST. Drogba's goalscoring record was never exactly all that great, like if you compare with Gomez for example, but he was extremely vital for us because of physical presence upfront and having the ability to link up the play and creating chances for others, while not forgetting him banging in his fair share amount of goals too. We need somebody like that because with this current team, the players can create for the ST and score goals themselves so they need someone upfront that can be played of to do the latter as well. Maybe it's just me but I would much rather to see us being a team where we can play in different ways - short, long, direct etc - and have goals come from everywhere as opposed to just focus on creating for a goal poacher like Gomez but can't create for others. That would make us unpredictable and more of a threat to play against.
  21. One word about Heynckes. He will be 68 y/o come May and hiring him when he could want to retire in 1-2 years time doesn't sound like a good idea, especially when we want some sort of stability at the club.
  22. Gary Cahill and Ashley Cole train ahead of Chelsea's match with Basel And this funny bit.
  23. Exactly. Many focus on his goalscoring record and not looking into his overall game as well as how he would fit into here.
  24. Simply stunning from Bayern. Very impressive. Well already into the final now.
