Well, La Liga only finishes on June 1st and Madrid have a cup final in a few weeks. If only Mourinho got to the CL final with the Madrid, win it and then announce immediately he's returning here in our second home. Shame.
That might be true but it's still not an excuse for the players to concede those late goals. Those that we let in were simple basic defending errors in which the players we had out there that time should be doing better. You don't need 5-6 defenders etc to be defending those situations. It's all about concentration, marking people properly and taking responsibility but the players failed to do that. Furthermore, Benitez has made such substitutions before and we have seen out games and win them. Why then do we praise the players for doing a good job in getting the win, defending properly etc? Why no praise then for Benitez that he ensures the team see the game out and win them if we are gonna blame him for every dropped points and not the players as well?
That goes right up there with his shot that went out for a throw in as well against Sparta Prague. Hilarious. And you can see Moses and Ramires getting frustrated at that. While it may be encouraging that he is taking shots lately, he might have been better off to actually keep things simple and pass the ball when the shot is not on. I also hate it when he thinks he's Messi and try to dribble past 2-3 players only to then lose the ball needlessly!
Despite all the news/stories that seem to be reporting he is back for certain, I'm still quite skeptical he would actually do that IF we don't finish in the Top 4.
While that might be the case, he's not the only one at fault for this problem. The players also need to shoulder the blame for the current situation that we're in now.
