  1. Some stats about Lewandowski... Robert Lewandowski has now scored 35 goals in 43 appearances (1 as sub) for Dortmund this season in all competitions. Dortmund's Robert Lewandowski had a hand in 45 goals in his 43 competitive matches 2012/13 (35 goals, 10 assists) (via OptaFranz).
  2. Erm, I think that is another fabricated quote from Twitter. Have not seen one (actual) reliable media source saying that.
  3. Have to say, I do really enjoy his post-match interviews. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=3PPcx_rnyzc
  4. Jurgen Klopp has just confirmed that the story about Lewandowski has signed for Bayern(according to Heynckes's agent) is fake!
  5. Mourinho? Yes. Falcao? NO! And Bild recently reported Lewandowski is a target for Mourinho too. Bring him in instead!
  6. Don't think I need to say anything more about Lewandowski. A total world class performance tonight. Everything about his team play was excellent AND also his ability to score the goals and beautiful ones at that too! He would certainly bring so much to the team we have here.
  7. Yeah...in a few years time, Roman would want us to copy Bayern's style...
  8. Time to throw in some stats... 1. Real Madrid have only won 1 of their 23 European away matches in Germany - W1 D6 L16. The sole win in GER came against Leverkusen in 2000. 2. Jose Mourinho has lost all 5 of his European away matches in Germany - vs Werder Bremen(x2), Bayern Munich(x2) & Borussia Dortmund. Those 5 losses suffered by Mourinho came during his time at Chelsea, Inter Milan & Real Madrid. All of them have been 1 goal defeats.
  9. Yes but think it would be better to have a team with flair, creativity and also the aggression and physicality that we once had under Mourinho and Ancelotti. Our current team have the flair and creativity to play attacking football but there is a major lack of the other 2 said aspects that is hindering our team at the moment. Need to marry both in the team.
  10. Sounds like the media just dug up the previous links that we had and throw our name into the fray for Ramos. Doubt there's anything in that rumour.
  11. Well in the Euro 2012, the Poland coach then said Lewandowski will be joining Man United but it didn't happen. And only like 1-2 days ago, Honigstein said his move to Bayern has gotten a bit complicated and he could still end up in the PL. Wouldn't believe anything 100% right now anyway considering it's the time of the year where the transfer rumour mill is running at full power.
  12. Considering he's a scouser, it's nothing new. It's always the fault of someone else and never theirs. Typical. And really, how long more are we gonna be patient with this flop?! He's always talking the talk but can't walk the walk and when that happens, he's always finding stupid excuses for his failure blaming others for it. For all the 'Rafa OUT' agenda so far, it's incredible to think we don't even have one for Torres yet! He needs to GTFO of here!!!
  13. Suarez has received a 10-match ban for his bite. News just came up. Lovely.
  14. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/10015288/Fernando-Torres-Chelsea-rely-too-much-on-individuals.html Blondie is now suggesting the reason why he has struggled here is because we rely too much on individuals....unlike when he was at Liverpool.
  15. Erm, why has this thread been moved here??
  16. http://www.google.com/translate?hl=en&ie=UTF8&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bild.de%2Fsport%2Ffussball%2Fmario-goetze%2Fwas-macht-dortmund-mit-den-millionen-30130166.bild.html Now Bild is saying Dortmund won't sell Lewandowski this summer and would rather let him go on a free next summer, unless the top English clubs offer them 40m and they then might consider otherwise.
  17. http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/mario-goetze/was-macht-dortmund-mit-den-millionen-30130166.bild.html According to Bild, Eriksen is a potential replacement for Gotze at Dortmund.
  18. Hamburg's Son back on Dortmund radar
  19. Quite far I would say but that's because we're in the rebuilding process of trying to phase out the senior players and bringing new and upcoming players through the team. Bayern have done gradually and they are probably at their peak right now. With a couple additions to key areas in the squad, tweaking to the team and having a competent manager in charge, we would be challenging at the very top in Europe again.
  20. We definitely need to get back into the Champions League and be able to go through experiences and emotions again. :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf:
