Erm, sort of. Only really believe the Guardian though but considering we're in the transfer window, probably best to take news like this with a pinch of salt.

Andy Carroll, really?! Anyway, what an unnecessary bump. Locked!

Even some say that for the sake of it. There are posts that seem to indirectly imply the point I made and maybe I'm wrong (or not) but one can perhaps sort of tell that judging by how members go about posting their views in this forum.

Here's more on that. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/chelseas-juan-mata-targeted-transfer-2981865

Did I even relate that point I made to that he should be playing because of that? That point was more to the fact of people's evaluation of Mata right now. Maybe you're not one of them and it's not as if I'm saying everyone thinks that but there are few that sees it that way.

It is arguably only a frustration showed in the heat of the moment. Don't get why some are so quick to criticize Mata for supposedly acting unethically and all that. Easy to say all that sitting behind the computers or TV watching the whole incident not being involved and pass judgment on him. If only we could see some of you lots in the exact same position as Mata and how you handle such highly pressurized or heat in the moment situation...And as for him demonstrating an action or intentionally reacting the way he did, what does he have to gain for doing so?

I don't think selling Sturridge to Liverpool for £12m is really a ripped off. It might have been a tad OTT given he only has 6 months left in his contract then but he has proved he can score the goals and do the business in this league. As for De Bruyne, he hasn't even played much for us and yet we intend to sell him for £25m. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. 4-5 years down the road, that price may look like a bargain for that club that purchase him - if it happens - but right now, it's a complete ripped off.

Nothing to do with Mata and yet again, he's being brought into the equation here for no reason and people were wondering why Mata and Oscar are always mentioned as a comparison. If we want to talk about people making a big deal out of Oscar's dive yesterday, think the Mata's incident is being blown out of proportion even more than this. Look through the last few pages of this thread and Mata's one and you can see the obvious-ness and huge difference in the reaction or over-reaction in this case in both of the threads.

Yes, we can all see he was frustrated but like I said before, we don't even know what on earth exactly he was exactly frustrated about. If he was actually doing what you said, then fair enough. But if not, then what? For all we know, he could actually be complaining about something else. There is not even a single proof to substantiate your claim. Your assessment of the situation is merely an interpretation and yet it is treated as some sort of fact that Mata's frustration is seen as an indication of challenging Mourinho's decision and people being so quick to take up the moral high ground and pass judgment. There is a clear difference here of just being unhappy and moaning and actually challenging the decision made. As for blanking the boss, were there even replays that showed the whole incident of that substitution or is that merely another interpretation assumed as a fact because of pictures him walking past Mourinho without looking at him? It's not as if Mourinho offered to shake his hand or wanted to pat him on the back and Mata completely ignored it. If we want to talk this whole blanking the boss thing because he didn't make contact with Mourinho as he went off, then this isn't the first time it happened in history really. Not the first time it has happened and won't be the last and it's non-event really. Has happened before and nothing was said of it but yet this gets blown out of proportion. People acting butt-hurt on this whole thing about Mata? That point is seriously getting old. Gets used way too often in an argument for people to use and escape from a discussion. And speaking about butt-hurt, perhaps the more butt-hurt thing here is that people are completely going over 'butt-hurt' on this whole incident that happened yesterday. How do you even know he is not happy with himself? Have you spoken to him personally?

Either we or United will apparently be facing Barcelona in Qatar next month. I mean seriously, if this happens, it's even worse than the post-season friendlies! The Catalans have confirmed that as part of their sponsorship agreement with Qatar Sports Investments, a friendly will be played in Qatar during the first quarter of 2014. Sport understand that, barring any surprises, the game will be set during the month of February and that the opponents will be English, with a choice currently set between Chelsea and Manchester United. It is believed that facing Chelsea would be preferred option for the game’s sponsors, for the curiosity of seeing former Real Madrid Coach Jose Mourinho once more face the Blaugrana. Januzaj is No 2 in list of Premier League's all-time divers after just 14 games... and Man United have been caught twice as often as any other club this season

Like that post, mainly for that highlighted point which is pretty much spot in regards to Alex's bashing of Mata previously.

http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1668600/cardiff-city-confirm-ole-gunnar-solskjaer-appointment?cc=4716 Cardiff have appointed Solskjaer as manager. Will be interesting to see how he fares. Goes back to Old Trafford end of this month and will face both Newcastle and City away from home before that too. Tough start awaits.

25m?! IF that is true and we somehow pull it off, then this is probably the first time ever we are ripping somebody off and not the other way round!

Think Chelsea fans do appreciate what Mata has contributed to this club but right now, it seems as if some are just completely dismissing that like it never even existed. As for yesterday's happenings, just find it 'curious' that there are some who is quick to jump to conclusions and not really even looking at both sides of the coin to evaluate the whole situation in relation to the incident.
-
Easy to say all that really when there are so many factors in this situation. And as for KDB has managed, yeah, he hasn't even been seen practically at all this season to even be able to say he has managed.

I get your point but let's not act as if we all don't lose all cool in front of people at some point during our lives...
