When I said that, I don't just mean it literally. Also meant to say the minute Cahill make a mistake..
-
No, I'm not the one who does that. Want to do it but there are issues...

Who knows? But regardless of that, he'll probably turn and twist the event and make it as though Mikel was useless as usual (in his eyes)...

Really? I can view it. Try this then. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x199hrt_derby-county-0-2-chelsea-all-goals-5-1-2014-fa-cupvideo-highlights-soccerlust-com_sport?search_algo=2

Hull have done extremely well for a newly promoted side. Sitting comfortably in mid-table and have won 5 of their 10 league games at home this season while losing only twice. And not to mention, they have conceded just 6 goals (3 came against United recently) at the KC Stadium which is the joint best defensive home record along with Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool. Won't be an easy game but we definitely need to win this game with games against Man United and Man City coming up. Can't afford to slip up here.

Where's Phil Driver when you need him?!
-
Then, don't post it! You're only insinuating trouble...
-
Cannot believe he scored again, I just couldn't believe my eyes when it happened! And note that the 2 goals he has scored this season have come against teams playing in white (Fulham being the other) while Oscar also scoring in the same game. Oh also, Mikel's goals for the club have only come under Mourinho..

Looks like @Shakez was right after all about Ramires being played at RW today. Though that move did not backfire today, it's still a nonsensical one given the options that we have. Anyway, it was good performance overall. Did alright in the first half actually. Wasn't really troubled by Derby and created some decent and arguably enough chances to be leading at least 1-0 HT but not clinical enough. Stepped it up the second half and eventually got the goals we deserved. The last few minutes was a bit dodgy but job done. And with this 2-0 win, we have conceded just 1 goal and kept 4 clean sheets in the last 5 games in all competitions compared to letting in 9 goals and kept only 1 clean sheet in the 5 games prior to that.

All these starting XI stated on TV, websites etc are not always black and white. They just follow the standard 'procedure' in stating the XI. We started with Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpi, Mikel, Ramires, Lampard, Oscar, Hazard and Eto'o against West Ham. I'm sure all the TV, websites etc stated it 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 but it turned out to be a lopsided formation of those. Maybe you might be right in saying it's a 4-2-3-1 with Ramires starting out wide given, after all, he started him there against Spurs (which is at the very least was understandable) but then again, I wouldn't expect Mourinho to be conservative and do that against Derby.
-
Also, with Lampard out till end of January, starting the remaining 3 CMs in Mikel, Essien and Ramires seems rather risky...
-
Think it's more of a lopsided 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 like vs West Ham...
-
Cesar Azpilicueta sat down with the official Chelsea website to assess his time at the club, reflect on his recent run in the side and outline his hopes for the remainder of the campaign His other nickname...The Rat!
-
Tim Sherwood asked for trouble really, nonsensical to play 4-4-2 against Arsenal and AWAY from home at that!

Didn't know this thread has turned into a Geography/History lesson thread...

Record now stands at P6 W2 D2 L2. Something has got to give today.

Deserved? Yeah, guess people are only saying that based on recent performances - credit to him - but won't be long before people take a 180 degrees turn and criticize him for his shortcomings as a defender again the minute he starts to do something silly. And speaking of the new contract, he still has 3 years left in his current contract, is there any point of extending it by 1 year at this point?!
-
Even though Terry has been playing well this season, he can't go on forever. And like has been said, Namika wrote 'future', which can be 3, 4, 5 years down the road from now. I doubt Terry will still be a starter for us by that time, even if he stays with us till then. Or maybe they just want a replacement for him and if they can get a LB - that is not favored by Mourinho - from us through a trade, then at least it might soften the blow of losing Shaw. Bertrand might not be a talented LB but he is reliable and solid enough to perform consistently.
