  3. Chelsea tempt Terry with coaching role but skipper remains focused on playing career
  4. Eto'o just tweeted this... Hospitality? Interesting choice of word.
  5. Maybe or maybe not. Even if he did, don't think he would feel like he earned it since he didn't exactly contribute in our league campaign throughout the season.
  6. Didn't happen. Not one mention of it on Twitter.

  8. Dear, don't forget about this 5th round match preview yaa...
  9. Honestly, if they come through that hellish run of fixtures unscathed, they deserved to win something this season..
  10. It might just provoke some reaction from people but we shall see.
  11. Funny thing, if we do win it this year, Mata will get a medal of that..
  12. Not a bad debut eh? Really like his neat and tidy-ness on the ball. Received and passed it quickly and has a good range as well.
  13. Watching Hazard playing the way he is right now is making me speechless. He has improved so much it's unbelievable, not just offensively but defensively as well. I'm really really pleased especially that now he is so much more purposeful with the ball; running at pace and taking defenders on, decisive with the ball, getting to the byline and shoot at goal when it's possible. Last season, he was hardly doing any of this and at times, it felt as though he was just strolling around. He has definitely improved on the overall aspects of his game and doing so with consistency as well.
  14. Just gonna keep it but not gonna wear it till he leaves United.
  15. To illustrate the good run we are in, here's a stat... Chelsea have won their last 7 games in all competitions; first time that is achieved since Sept 2009 (won 8 in a row between Aug-Sept).

  17. A Sunderland fan. He's a good lad. Don't need to be mean.
  18. Chelsea have been drawn to face Premier League title rivals Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in the FA Cup 5th round, with the tie to be played on either 15th or 16th February. The pairing of the two giants would mean they would face each other twice next month with the same fixture taking place in the league on 3rd February, next Monday. Both sides qualified for the fifth round comfortably though Manchester City had some scares along the way. Manuel Pellegrini's side were held to a 1-1 draw in the third round by Championship side Blackburn before thrashing them 5-0 in the replay at the Etihad. They then faced Watford in the following round at home and found themselves 2-0 down at half time before a Sergio Aguero hat-trick inspired the Citizens to a 4-2 win. Chelsea, on the other hand, had no such problem despite facing tricky ties. Mourinho's men beat a determined Derby County 2-0 at the County Ground in the third round and before dispatching Stoke 1-0 with ease at Stamford Bridge earlier today in the last round. Both sides have played one another four times in the FA Cup history with the last meeting coming in April last season in the semi final where Manchester City edged past the Blues 2-1 before going on to lose the final. The side from Manchester have the upper hand over their London counterpart as they have won 3 and lost only 1 of the 4 meetings in this competition. Other notable ties in the 5th round will also see Arsenal hosting Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium while Michael Laudrup's Swansea will travel to Goodison Park to face Everton. Current FA Cup holders Wigan will also be on the road as they face Cardiff in Wales and Sunderland will go head-to-head against Southampton at home once more, after having faced the same opponent in the Capital One Cup this season.
