Easy to say he made a mistake in keeping Torres and other STs when nobody out there wants and/or can afford him. The summer pursuit of Rooney then should already tell us he wasn't convinced by the STs overall.

Probably shouldn't be enjoying this but so glad that Mourinho has finally had it with Torres (and our STs situation in general). About time a Chelsea manager finally criticized Torres after all the protection and diplomacy involved with previous managers. Ruthless and merciless in revamping this squad is arguably what we need from the manager. No more messing about after 3-4 years of not fixing the obvious problems within the squad. Will be great if we can ditch the deadwoods this summer & have a proper squad! Mourinho's comments after the game couldn't be anymore obvious in expressing his dislike/distaste on Torres and our STs overall.

Anonymous is a generous description. I don't want to be mean and all but we probably need to think of the harshest word ever to label Torres. He's just beyond useless, shocking, appalling, abysmal, dismal. In fact, not even sure if there is word in the English word can genuinely describe him right now!

Not sure if anyone have realized but we have now lost 3 of our last 5 games in all competitions. Hope we are not really gonna lose our form at this point of the season!

Wouldn't say our chances are bleak but will be tough and low/average chance probably. We have seen their defence can be gotten at tonight and it's just a matter of whether we can keep a clean sheet and be clinical with our chances next week. Almost the same case like Napoli two years ago.

Is Hazard ever gonna shoot when he gets the chance to do so? Every time, he seems more keen to play a pass and set up others (we all know how messy our final passes are!) rather than shoot himself. It's not like his shooting ability and accuracy are bad or anything!

That was probably down to the tactical instructions from Mourinho. Seem to alluded to his tasks of dropping back etc in his post-match interview. When Schurrle was stick properly upfront for the second half, nothing was going to him. And though I'm not convinced myself either, think it would be fairer to judge Schurrle's effectiveness as a ST for us if he starts there consistently, had more play around him etc than just dismissing after 2 games, especially when that 2 games were 7-8 months apart!

Funny you said that when he had absolutely no service at all upfront. His all round performance as a ST might not be great but it will be better off judging his effectiveness as the ST when the players behind can do more for him as well, create chances, dominate the opposition etc.

If there is one thing Mourinho needs to add to this squad is probably some of the brute force and that c*ntess like Drogba, Costa etc. At times you look at the players and they just look so nice and fanciful but lacking that aggression to bully the opposition and lately, feels as though the players only turn up when they like it.

Played decent in the first half but went AWOL completely for the second and all of this compounded by the many mistakes for each goal - Terry for first, Luiz second and 3-4 players + Cech for the 3rd. Shambolic display! Not to mention, there were several counter attack chances we had but had to f**k up the final passes in the attacking third. So bloody typical of us!

Yeah but works slightly different of course. IIRC, there are 2 amnesty dates (or just 1?) in a season. One in January and the other in March..
