TBF, if they were in charge of the transfers and team, we would be playing 0-0-10 right now. These people are jumping into the bandwagon and switching from one to another on a daily basis. Only the other day IIRC, people were suddenly wanking over Cavani again and prefer him over Costa because he scored against Costa Rica (from the penalty spot) and the latter's crap performances for Spain (when he doesn't even suit them entirely) but now, nobody is doing that anymore about Cavani.

I think Sanchez is a better player than you're giving him credit for. His last season for Udinese shows that. He's never really hit the heights at Barcelona because his style and theirs are different, almost like how Fabregas is not quite suited to their tiki-taka but when played in the right system like now with Chile, it suits Sanchez and his strengths and can be devastating.

TBH, our pre-season fixtures look a bit meh. I know it's the World Cup year etc and perhaps Mourinho wants the players to have a lighter pre-season but would have preferred if we face at least 1-2 tough oppositions (no offence to the ones we're playing) to test ourselves.

Calling Willian a complete player is totally stretching it. Yes, he has good workrate, tactical discipline but when it comes to the need to provide guile and creativity in the final, he's almost as average (to put it kindly) as Oscar and needs a massive improvement! Funny you say that when Oscar, Willian probably aren't even in the top 10 best wingers list in football but then claim they are the kind of AMs a CL contender should have.

I know forum is all about discussion/debates but how is it, without fail, that this thread always somehow turned into the same repetitive/redundant 'Hazard vs Neymar vs Bale vs Ronaldo vs Messi' discussion?

He is truly one disgraceful footballer. Has all the talent and commitment to succeed in football but goes about it in the wrong way and to bite a player for the 3rd time is just beyond shocking. The best punishment would probably be banning him forever from the World Cup. And also, gotta laugh at those people who thought he had changed, completed his rehabilitation etc just because he won the Footballer of the Year award last season and has supposedly earned the respect of his peers.
